Dr. Jaafer Golzar, MD

Had a horrid experience with Dr Golzar doing 3 ablasions on my husbands legs. The third one in only 6 weeks went horribly wrong. Dr never came our to even speak to us after surgery. Was no where to be found. The next day my husband experienced increased weakening of his ability to walk. By end of day he could not walk at all! The next day we called 911 and he was taken to Christ Hospital and the next day was called to hear he had sepsis!! Altogether my husband was in hospital and Rehab total of 17 days! Was a traumatic nightmare!! Dr Golzar instead of calling to check on him personally and showing any concern went on a vacation during the Christmas holiday!! He finally called 2 weeks later and instead of showing empathy to my husband's condition he was arrogant and cold. Even had the nerve to disagree with his diagnosis of sepsis that Christ treated altogether for almost 3 weeks! Was a horrific nightmare!! We go elsewhere than Advocate now! Go to U of Chicago now for compassionate care

He was wonderful and caring. He diagnosed my problem and was able to fix it within a timely fashion. He was knowledgeable and the surgery went well.
