Dr. Jack Jawitz, MD

Dr. Jawitz refused to treat the wounds he created in both my knees. I had gaping holes, that were severely infected, as a result of injections he gave me to help treat a skin condition. I needed to go to wound care center, to have the dead matter taken out. I then needed major surgery on each knee to remove each bursa, and close the holes that were larger than a silver dollar, down to the bone. The best he could do was say he was sorry. My suggestion is to find another Dermatologist.

I was quite disappointed in my last visit with Dr Jawitz in his Bradenton office. He came into the examination room, immediately asked abruptly "What are you here for?" Explained we noticed marks that did not seem good. his response was "take your shirt off". He never introduced himself or anything. He walked out to get something and came back and immediately started spraying the dry ice on my body and said after I will see you in six months. He walked out. Will never return to his office!!!

Outdated procedures routinely performed in less than sterile conditions. Personal experience included having an open incision procedure occurring with room door open and people walking through constantly, other patients looking into the room, at one point the tech removed her gloves, laid them down to do something, then put the same dirty gloves back on to resume the procedure. No sterile field was ever established for the procedure, nor was any anti-biotic prescribed for possible infection.FFF

Dr. Jawitz seems fine to me. I have no complaints
