If I could give zero stars, I would.
We were in the hospital with my very young baby with RSV. First of all, to be a doctor “on call,” that would include ANSWERING THE CALLS. The nurses could never get ahold of her. You’d think knowing you have an infant with RSV as your patient you would be more prominent and aware about paying attention to your phone in case of emergencies and needs. Second of all, my baby was clearly in distress and all kinds of signs. I was terrified my baby was going to die. She acted like he was fine and we didn’t need to worry. Third, he got an x ray and she said she didn’t see any pneumonia. Funny that when we got to vandy and they did an x ray, there was VERY MUCH PNEUMONIA. She also told me we wouldn’t see a difference going to vandy we just had to wait it out. We saw a huge difference and felt 1000x safer as soon as we got to the doctors at Vandy. Thank God a nurse told me he wasn’t being taken care of how he should be and that i need to request he be transferred immediately. Needs fired.

Unprofessional
This “doctor” was the pediatrician on call during the birth of our child and many others, that are very upset with her attitude and general care for their children. From my experience with her, she should be disbarred. No doctor should make you feel as uncomfortable as she has. She is disrespectful and has no regard for mothers and their children.

Not a good experience
Dr. Milo was the on call pediatrician when I had my baby so she had to sign off for her to be discharged. She was a healthy 7 lbs 8 oz and 24 hours after delivery was still the same weight. We asked to go home at that point and we were told if we argued she could hold her 48-72 hours, and if we decided to go home against her wishes that she could make it where our health insurance would not cover our entire delivery. During this the only reason she was giving us that she was keeping her longer is that babies can still lose weight for a couple of days, even though she was maintaining her birth weight. Other nurses and hospital staff indicted that this was normal for this specific pediatrician to be argumentative and controlling against what the parents wishes.

Avoid!
Dr. Milo was the Pediatrician “on call” when my granddaughter was born. She held my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter in the hospital, refusing to release them after all well checks and assessments were completed with noting all were well. I spoke with several hospital staff to see if there were any issues we weren’t aware of regarding their health, and the staff said there were no issues, but this particular Pediatrician was known for being “controlling”. This Dr even told one young mother that she could “poke her baby as many times as she’d like”. Young mothers and fathers with their newborn babies deserve to feel safe within the hospital environment and this Pediatrician offered quite the opposite. I would like to note that the nurses and other hospital staff were caring and considerate, but Dr. Milo should be a hard pass for anyone looking for a caring and respected Pediatrician.
