Dr. Jaclyn Ferro, MD

This is a review about the extortionary practices of Dr. Ferro and her office.During my routine visit, Dr. Ferro forced me to schedule a follow up for something which I assured her was normal - had been recently checked in NY. She refused to listen to me. I scheduled the visit. The tech saw me first, and then I was seen by Dr. Ferro. She got the reason incorrect for my visit not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES. After explaining to her again (and again) why I was there, and that it was unnecessary, she ended the visit by apologizing for wasting my time.If the only thing wasted was time, a negative review would already be necessary. However, I paid $50 for this visit at the office. In January, I received a bill for $119 for this visit. Now, in April, I have just received a further bill of $25. How many other patients are forced into visits simply for their and their insurer's money? Shame on this office, this practice should shut them down. I will never be returning.

Dr. Ferro cares about her patients. Her staff is great.

Horrible. My daughter went to see the Nurse Practitioner Chyna, for an underlaying condition and not only was not addressed and limited to do a yearly exam, but when my daughter called 4 days later to complain about the same condition, they told her to come in and pay another visit. When we called the Office again, we were informed that no where in the notes did it say anything about the issues my daughter originally had gone there for. When we spoke with the Nurse Practitioner, she blatantly lied and told my daughter that she never mentioned anything and that an entire conversation they’ve had regarding that never took place. She was obviously covering herself for not having written her medical notes correctly. Not only that but she told us that the medical director would call us, and no one did.

Dr. Ferro is THE BEST! I switched to her for my second pregnancy and could not be happier with my whole experience from start to finish. From the first appointment where she took time to answer every question, to delivery, she was amazing. She truly cares about her patients, makes you feel heard, and explains everything thoroughly. I am forever grateful for her!!

Dr. Ferro means it when she says she works with "women's health." She doesn't just see a reproductive system—she looks at the whole person and provides professional, timely and attentive care. She's the best OB-GYN I've found by far, I highly recommend!!

Hands down the most amazing gyno in Miami, possibly all of Florida! Dr. Ferro is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with any question or concern you may have. I have been with her for about a year now and I seriously don’t see myself going anywhere else! She was very welcoming and kind upon first meeting, and she really seems to care for each one of her patients with genuine concern. She’s phenomenal and I definitely would recommend to anyone I know!

Great experience. I’ve been to many doctors as I have a difficult condition and she was by far the most knowledgeable and informative. Her office is very welcoming and spa-like which made me feel relaxed. She was very gentle with her exam. I could not believe I had one when she told me I was done. Highly recommend her and will recommend my family and friends to her.

Dr. Ferro was the most down-to-earth and approachable doctor I’ve experienced. She was careful to explain everything in lay person terms. Dr. Ferro did an amazing job with my sister’s operation, and was able to preserve her fertility. Would definitely recommend!

Dr. Ferro is the best OBGYN in Miami. I’ve had my fair share of doctors and she is the only one who has exceeded my expectations. Her method of practice is perfect and she is EXTREMELY honest. She also favors natural approaches which was really important to me and she actually cares about how you feel. She will never shove any treatment down your throat and it’s evident that her priorities are safety/ communication/ and comfortableness. She is also extremely relatable and personable. Look no further, she’s great!

I was referred to Dr. Ferro vía a friend. My husband and I met with her and after meeting with her, we knew she was the doctor for us. Not only did she take the time to answer all of my silly pregnant questions, but she made me fee comfortable and at easy. She explained thing clearly and understood that I was entering into the unknown world of pregnancy and birth. She even pushed back her flight to deliver my son and showed patiences during my labor process by not pushing me into a c-section. If you’re looking for someone that you can talk to like a friend and get the hands on care during any type of Gyno issue, she is amazing.

I've never come across another doctor that has cared equally about my mental health and physical health more than her. Being a patient that has infertility issues, the process can be overwhelming but she made it so much easier, she cares, takes her time to address all your concerns, is extremely knowledgeable in her field and up to date on new medicines and procedures. I am very grateful to have her as a doctor and wish other doctors would care about their patients like she does. She is amazing. She treats each of her Patients as if they were family.

Limited competence. Two pregnancies in a row she couldn’t find the baby’s heartbeat and rushed me to the hospital. This last time she put me on the NST machine for 15 minutes and wouldn’t even sit with me, it was the beginning of my 37 week appointment so we had a lot to talk through leading up to the birth. And when I did go into labor no one from the practice showed up and the office line said it was disconnected so I was completely abandoned for my labor and delivery. Also, before my pregnancy she was really pushing some laser treatment for vaginal rejuvenation. Her wait times are awful and once during a nearly hour and a half wait some medical rep came dressed like an alien (I wish I was kidding or exaggerating, I’m dead serious) and I saw her take selfies with her and the whole nurses station hung out with the lady for like 20/30 minutes while the wait was insane. The billing department will also try to charge you for your copay all over again.

My experience from today , I can say she such great professional and human being, she loves what she does ! she takes time to listen all your concerns I highly recommended Dr Ferro we need more Doctor like her that really care about the wellbeing of her patients. Dr Ferro is gem. Also she has professional staff.

While at another practice, Dr. Ferro removed a few uterine fibroids. When I went for the follow up, she asked if I had pain or discharge and I told her I didn't she said there was no need to examine the area. It's not that I wanted to have an exam, but common sense says that if surgery is done on an area, the physician should examine it. Needless to say, I moved to another gyn.

Dr Ferro is the epitome of what a physician should embody. She is patient, compassionate, smart, and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!
