Dr. Jacob Brandon, MD

Dr. Brandon claimed I had kidney disease and had it for 5 years (stating he was surprised my other doctor didn’t tell me). I was doubtful as I’m extremely healthy and show no symptoms of the disease. I went to a second doctor and then a third- both agreed I showed ZERO signs in my labs or scans of it that they reran. Also important to note Dr. Brandon was not planning on treating it with medication- stating it would “probably” be fine except for down the road I would need dialysis. There’s tons of medical interventions before dialysis- dialysis is like a last option for severity. He also told me all this over voicemail rather than telling me in person. Horrible experience- I’m not sure how you can diagnosis someone with a horrible disease that can cause death if not treated and say there’s not a need to tear it and then have it turn out I don’t even have this disease.

My PCP Dr whom I had gone to for many, many years retired. Dr Brandon took over his practice. I was able to quickly get an appointment. Dr Brandon was very kind, bedside professional and friendly. He asked great questions and listened to me about my health issues. He was not in a hurry to leave the appointment and seemed genuinely concerned about what I had to say. He put me at ease and didn’t make me feel as though what I was asking about was in my head, or loose weight, or it’s just you’re getting older and those things happen. I will be going back to him. So far I’m very happy with him.

Dr. Jacob Brandon took over my previous doctor's office practice when he retired. What a nice and refreshing surprise when I met Dr. Brandon for the first time! He is thorough, patient, kind and intelligent. I also appreciated when he stated that he wants to work with me and not just tell me what to do because he is the doctor. Even though he had other patients to see, I did not feel rushed. While in his office I felt heard, valued and, understood. I was very impressed that he read my chart before my first appointment and asked questions and even diagnosed my condition when neurologists failed to diagnose my problem accurately. I truly believe that Dr Brandon diagnosed my rare disorder because he actively listened to me snd cared enough to help me. He even apologized to me for the neurologists who grossly misdiagnosed my issues because they did not listen to me. Dr. Brandon is even highly regarded among his peer physicians.
