My Obstruction kept getting worse.. ER was a regular thing... In the Hospital.. Dr Petrosky was there for me... Performed surgery.. and it's been 2 years.. I am so grateful that he was there for me!! 2 years now and I am fine!!

Dr Petrosky saved my life. I was on my way to immobility due to my size, but I was afraid of the surgery. When I had a gallbladder attack, he sat me down and gave me all of the details that I needed to understand that the surgery was my best option. He worked with me for 6 months to lose 110 lbs and then I had the surgery and lost another 160 lbs. I am a different person and I have a whole new life. And I owe it all to him.

Dr. Petrosky removed my husband's gallbladder. He burst the gallbladder upon removal. He never visisted my husband to see how he was doing in the hospital. At the follow up visit, he was very condesending until our daughter arrived as our advocate.

I was referred to Dr. Petrosky for surgery. I had a hiatal hernia repair and spent one night in UH Geauga hospital. Dr. Petrosky is an excellent surgeon. He cares about his patients and their outcomes.

One of the greatest doctors i have ever met. Spends time explaining everything that is going on and answers every question I ask . I have never had a doctor call me at home not once but twice to go over future test and test results about which I had doubts. Just love him.

He’s the best ! He never rushes through my visit. He takes time out to listen to all my concerns. It’s hard to find a physician like him .

Dr. Petrosky saved my life last year when he performed emergency surgery for diverticulitis and then performed laparoscopic surgery six months later to reconnect my colon. He is a great surgeon and a caring man. I thank him with all my heart and I appreciate everything he did for me. i would recommend him to anyone in need of the services he provides. He is a great asset to UH Geauga Hospitals surgical team.

If you have symptoms of gallbladder issues, I fully recommend seeing Dr. Jacob Petrosky in Geneva, Ohio. I was dealing with gallbladder issues for a little over a year when I met Dr. Petrosky. I had hyperkinetic gallbladder and other surgeons felt that this could not possibly cause similar symptoms to gallstones even when faced with medical research I myself did that had Mayo Clinic saying yes yes it can. Dr. Petrosky scheduled me within two weeks to have my gallbladder out. He listened to everything I had to say and looked over every test I have had. He agreed it was my hyperkinetic gallbladder. I’m two weeks post op and have 0 symptoms anymore and I’m back to eating normally with no problems. He truly is a 5 star physician.

Dr. Petrosky and his staff are very thorough and compassionate about what they do. One of the best doctors I have ever met. He takes his time to explain to you and your terms and takes his time to listen to your problem before jumping to conclusions. I would highly recommend him for anybody. I'm hoping I don't need surgery again but if I do he will be the first I call. Thank you dr. Petrosky.

Doctor Petrosky and his team were GREAT. They demonstrated great compassion and concern for me. They answered all my questions both before and after my procedure. They took all the time needed to make me feel like a person, not just another patient.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Petrosky and his staff. After my procedure, Dr. Protrosky made sure he took his time to answer my questions and those of my wife's. We never felt like he was in a hurry to go see his next patient, but that while in my room was focused on me and my care. Over the past year I have seen Dr. Petrosky several times. Each office visit I have his full attention and support. He never makes me feel rushed or that I cannot ask questions. He is concerned with how I am doing, what I struggle with and wants to make sure I achieve my goals. I would highly recommend Dr. Petrosky and his team for any surgery or procedure that you need to have done. I have seen other physician's that struggle with bed side manner and I can honestly say that Dr. Petrosky shines in this category. He is truly one of the best around!

I was very impressed by my initial visit. Dr. Petrosky drew a picture explaining how my cyst formed. Surgery went well and recovery was fast. Follow up appointment was fast courteous.

Dr. Petrosky is a phenomenal provider. Don’t waste your time with anyone else. The style of communication immediately put me at ease and I just kinda put him in the drivers seat and never have felt more comfortable. That weighs heavily coming from a person always feeling the need to be in control as well as being a nurse. This physician is the best there is hands down.

I had a surgery on July 1st by Dr. Petrosky. He was highly recommended to me by my primary care doctor. The entire experience from initial consultation through post surgery follow up was what medical care should be. The bed side manner of him and his staff was incredible. Dr. Petrosky took his time in appointments as well as during my surgery to make me feel cared for. My surgery went beautifully and I cannot begin to fully extend my gratitude for his help and medical expertise. I have absolute confidence in his knowledge and skill and I would recommend Dr. Petrosky to anyone. I can honestly say that I had a pleasant surgical experience. Pleasant, isn’t typically a word I would associate with surgery but in this case it is.

If you ever want to know what doctor to see you should probably ask a nurse.... That being said, I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Petrosky. His knowledge, skill and kind beside manner are a rarity in this day and age. Dr. Petrosky had helped me navigate multiple surgical and GI issues. He has also provided me with guidance on weight loss. (Down 20lbs!) I have referred friends and family alike to Dr. Petrosky. Thanks for the great care and compassion!
