Dr. Jacob Varghese, MD

Dr. Varghese was very condescending and hateful to my adult son on the spectrum and his advocate. He wouldn’t provide a referral to a rheumatologist for joint pain for a decades long severe psoriasis diagnosis that was controlled with biologics up until recently until he had a physical, which required blood work ( patient is on spectrum and has severe anxiety regarding needles) that had already been done less than a year before with his dermatologist. This all imposed an almost 2 month wait, while my son was in severe joint pain. Insurance wouldn’t pay for a specialist referral unless it came from his primary doctor (Kaiser Permanente) All he wanted was to milk us for $$ and act like a superior being.I have many choice words for him…He thinks he’s God. And he’s just an A$$ not that he cares but we moved to dr Patel at the Alpharetta Kaiser where we are treated like human beings.

Dr. Varghese patiently worked with me for 18 months finding the right balance of blood pressure medication (along with lifestyle changes).Extremely knowledgeable and yes, one of those doctors that won't hand out antibiotics willy nilly.Fact is - most people will leave Doctor reviews when less than happy. And don't give it much thought when very happy. SO - I am making a point of sharing what a great experience our relationship has been. Sadly I had to leave Kaiser due to a job change. Will hopefully rejoin at some point in the future.

My experience with Dr. Varghese was always pleasent and professional, his ability to hold me accountable for my treatment kept me engaged in my overall health, and his ability to motivate me help me turn things around, im so grateful to have him as my primary care doctor.

Worst experience ever!! He was so rude and lectured me. Wanted to know why I waited till Friday afternoon to come see him! Well, that’s when I could get an appt. He never looked in my throat or sinuses after telling him I thought I had sinus infection and fluid behind my ears and my throat hurting. Told ne I should have went to urgent care! He made me feel like he was ready to go bc it was Friday. I have never been treated so rudely!!See someone else!

I could not be happier to have Dr. Varghese as my primary care physician. I've never felt rushed during an appointment. Dr. Varghese asks in depth questions regarding my health care concerns. I have confidence in him as my doctor and appreciate the advice he offers. Dr. Varghese is supported by an excellent staff.

If I could give ZERO stars that would be excessive. This doctor needs a new field. Clearly he wishes his profession should have been an insurance adjuster..Since he blew off all my health issues due to the fact that I was paying direct and uninsured. He literally said there was nothing he could do for me except run up a bill. So if your concerned for your health and well being..find a doctor whom takes pride in his/her profession and a true ability to care rather than a disdainful attitude towards his patience and an attitude of regret that he's having to be there to help you. So much for bedside manners.

Terrible. He's the worst Dr. Ive ever seen. My leg was turning purple and he basically told me to deal with it and that he had other patients that are waiting and could not answer any of my other questions unless I wanted to wait an hour. But told me there wont be anything he could do about it anyway. He was a terrible Dr. It was a complete waste of time.

I am not use to do any review until I have to do since I have been seen and been taken care of my family physician, Dr. Varghese, who is always smiling with a energetic attitude, a well care, listen, and education to me related to my health. So, I have been learned more thing to care by myself which from his motivation toward to me. I am not sure how to recommend Dr. Varghese to every one but for sure to my directed family and closed relative. If you do then I am certain you will find out your own enjoyment with Dr. Varghese.

For 5 years, since moving to Georgia, I have been in search of a great doctor and finally I found Dr Varghese. He is outstanding. He spends time talking and listening, explaining and educating. He is easy to talk to. I never feel rushed at my appointments. I highly recommend him!! Seriously, he's good. And the nurses are great too.

Verry poor physician. Find someone else.

Rude. Condescending.

I started seeing Dr. Varghese a year ago and since he was able to get my blood pressure and weight to a healthy level.

I wasted my time seeing this guy? I was lectured for 30 minutes about what I should done before wasting his precious time. All of these things could have been relayed to me when making the appointment, but they were not! Maybe he is not happy working for Kaiser or maybe he does not like people? I think it could be both. Don't waste your time.

Pretty useless doctor; good for advil prescription I guess
