Dr. Jacobus Hugo, MD

I do not recommend Dr. Ben Hugo or his practice. The practice is run inefficiently with one side of the office competing with the other for patient rooms, sending out confusing text messages and receiving phone calls about conflicting appointment times and generally poor management. Examples are: having me leave the room so the aesthetician could use it, scheduling a carpet cleaning company to come during regular business hours thereby blocking the exit that is used for post op patients (can’t use a wheelchair causing the patient to have to navigate curbs, grass and other cars while still partially sedated.) The anesthesia used was ineffective. I spent an hour in tears asking for more medication and being told to hold still or “I might make an error”. More meds would have worked! What they did give me were 5 pills: 1 pill to calm the nerves and 4 opioid pills for pain. Patient anesthesia should be catered for that specific patient; it was the most traumatic experience of my life. Bott

My experiences with Dr Hugo have been exceptional. He is an excellent practitioner with an artistic eye. He is focused on the individual and on the outcomes of his procedures. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Been going to Dr. Hugo for many, many years, would never go to anyone else. His work is excellent, detailed, like a sculpturer. He and his office are professional, kind, considerate, they really care about you, etc. The one thing I love is that Dr. Hugo will not do anything that would make you look plastic (you know like some of those movie stars) . I fully trust Dr. Hugo.
