Dr. Jacqueline Barnes, MD

An angel on earth the only doctor to take her time a listen to my issues. Very Compassionate about her job. Keep up the good work Doc !

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Doctor Jacqueline Barnes for the compassion and care she extended to my senior mother who went to St. Anthony's emergency room with severe abdominal pain. Although my mother had been to the ER many times for the same health issue, she never saw Dr. Barnes. Most of the other ER doctors did okay in caring for my mother, with the exception of one, but Dr. Barnes cared! She problem solved and didn't simply prescribe pain medication that could potentially lead to addiction as my mother can not handle those strong narcotics. Dr. Barnes spoke of and had test performed that the other doctors didn't mention or suggest. Her disposition and caring demeanor meant so much. She consistently checked on my mom, and kept us informed. Although the test did not reveal the source of my mother's pain, Dr. Barnes encouraged us to pursue second opinions. She is the best doctor I've ever encountered. Thank you Dr. Barnes!

Dr Barnes was one of the most compassionate and professional ER physicians I have ever met. She goes above and beyond to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Keeps you informed and takes her time making sure you understand what is going on. What physician have you met that not only is doing the nursing job, but wants to make sure you are comfortable as well in such a high paced job. She is Awesome , and St. Anthony's is fortunate to have her.

Dr. Barnes is definitely the Best most Thorough Dr I have ever been to. Especially in the emergency room where you expect not to get the most attention, she really cared about my pain and health as a whole. I wish she could be my primary care dr. Can she?????

Dr Barnes is a terrific emergency room doctor who gave me excellent care for a non-typical urinary problem. She was efficient, professional, courteous and very caring Arthur Giordano

Dr. Barnes diagnosed my wife's meningitis and encephalitis after some five doctors got it completely wrong (incl two prior ER visits). She is engaged in the medical issues in a way we did not see previously. A brilliant doctor.

I have seen Dr. Barnes twice in St. Anthony's ER. Both times she was thorough and caring. It is comforting to know that if I have to go to the ER I will be well taken care of.

Dr Barnes knows how to work with older patients. Speaks clearly and explores thoroughly with her questions. Gentle and understanding. Would want her as my physician.
