Outstanding Doctor
Dr. Cohn knows exactly who you are when she enters the room. She remembers personal situations that are in no way likely on your chart. She takes her time and talks about your health and progress. She is the person who will call you about your labs...personally. And when you talk to her, she absolutely knows who you are. She is knowledgeable and knows the endocrine system. I seriously have no idea what I will do when she retires. It took me years to find someone to listen to me. We are so fortunate to have her in this area.

Excellent.
Excellent. Dr. Cohn has been treating my thyroid issue for many years. She is the best of the best in Corpus Christi. Not only is she kind and attentive to my medical needs, she full of compassion for her patients. The fact that she always takes the time to call me with my lab results, etc., speaks volumes. Her patients are important to her and always reassures you that she is just a phone call away 24/7. I wouldn't be where I'm at with my thyroid if it wasn't for Dr. Cohn. Highly recommended. Sincerely, Letty.

I was given levothyroxine for my thyroid, did awful, I had all kinds of problems. can not convert T3. I looked her up in the internet. This was about 8 yrs ago. I did very well with armour thyroid. Then 3 yrs ago, I move to the west Texas area. I am having the same problems with my thyroid. The physician here change it to 60 mg of armour. I am not doing well with 60mg. Dr chon gave me 90 mg armour. My endocrinologist here will not change my medication. I am being told they are within range, if they are, then why am I having all kinds of thyroid problems. Thank you Dr. CHON. MISS GOING TO YOU OFFICE.

The best!
I've been a patient of Dr. Cohn's since the early 1990's. I had had Grave's disease before we moved to the area & continued to have all kinds of female issues even after my thyroid was destroyed with nuclear meds. Finally when my local gynecologist gave up, he sent me to Dr. Cohn. She's been my number 1 doctor ever since, always the first & the best to send me to the appropriate doctor with issues out of her field...broken bones, heart issues, stomach issues, etc. She is a friend who took time to help me when my mother died. She's direct, no frills, but goes above & beyond to keep her patients healthy! If you need her, she returns calls, very much out of the ordinary with the newbies! God bless her for caring & abiding by her oath! One of a kind!L

Excellent communication and expertise. We are so blessed to have her in Corpus Christi, Texas. You won’t find a more qualified medical doctor in her field. We have relied on her judgement and recommendations when related to other medical problems as well. If you are fortunate enough to have Dr Cohn as your doctor believe me and her peers will tell you, there is no better doctor. My husband and mother in law are Dr Cohn’s patients.

Dr. Cohn is an excellent doctor and patients come from everywhere to see her. She is the only Physician that found my graves dis. I highly recommend her. She remembers her patients, makes rounds all hours at the hospital and she calls you personally to discuss your lab results. Would not trade her for anyone.

I have been Blessed to have been referred to Dr. Cohn when I had my son 30 years ago!! She has been amazing and as the years have gone by we both have aged and have gotten used to seeing each other every six months. Now I to drive at least 6 hours to see her but the drive is worth it. Unsure what I will do if she ever decides to retire :(

This doctor is the best doctor I've been to, for my diabetes. She's very understanding and kind. I love the fact that she calls you with your blood work results in case of any questions. She's very smart. I also love the fact that she spends time with you in the exam room and actually listens and remembers anything you tell her!

I loved having Dr Cohn as my endocrinologist. She listened to me and treated my hypothyroidism on an individual basis not just by the numbers. She also called me personally to give me the results of my tests! We have moved now so I'm really going to miss her.

Love Dr. Cohn. If you have endocrine health issues, you would be fortunate to have Dr. Cohn for your doctor. The wait to see her may be a little long at times, but she is well worth it. She will take just as much time with you. You are not a number to her, but a real human being and she is there to help. You could not ask for better. Wish all doctors were like her.

My type I diabetic, preg wife ordered her insulin, a week went by, we called the comp who was in charge of mailing her the supplies, They told us that the order was being held up because they never rec'd the rX from Dr Cohn's office. They mentioned that they tried to contact the office on 4 sep occasions. No luck. My wife called the office, because she was close to being out of insulin. For TWO DAYS the office promised Dr Cohn would send it in. Nope. Called the afterhour DR, she refused.

Even though the waiting time may be long, it is worth it! Dr. Cohn spends time wit me and helps me maintain my diabetes with a great A1C. When I have had to depend on a primary care doctor I couldn't get my blood sugars below 300. Dr. Cohn knows how to treat diabetes, thyroid, and other metallic disorders. If you are having trouble with high A1C, don't give into it or give up, go to Dr. Cohn! She has made a difference in many people's lives! And she has a great caring staff!
