Dr. Jacqueline Skvaril, MD

Cold, doesn’t listen, asks the same questions over and over, told me “just keep your answers short, one or two words” on intake. Constantly interrupted, scolded, dismissed my concerns, basically just did not listen to me at all. Told me that it’s not easy to be in healthcare of these days and boy her attitude sure reflects that. She had zero compassion or empathy or understanding. Did not believe me when I described my symptoms, actually said to me “well I need to see THAT for myself” in a condescending manner. Asked why I wanted a telemed appt several times, never once hearing me that HER staff set it up, NOT me, and that the only in person appointment they had when I called IN MAY was Sept 27th and that I could not wait that long to have new onset of blistering headaches (totally disregarded-told me “the CT was fine.” Well great, still having debilitating headaches but hey! If the CT was clear!) Dismissed my concerns about nerve damage follow up. Couldn’t even get my name right

She is amazing and kind and compassionate and wise and insightful!

Do not expect follow-up from Dr. Skvaril if you leave a message requesting a referral to a specialist about a confirmed life threatening diagnosis. Do not expect follow-up from Dr. Skvaril if you have a pathology report faxed to her office confirming a life threatening diagnosis. You are basically on your own to find your own follow-up. This MD apparently disregards you as a patient if she hasn't diagnosed you. But also she doesn't do melanoma skin exams in her office.

Dr. Skvaril was extremely patient and kind.

Very nice but felt frushed. Do not see her if you are hypothyroid unless you press for a referral to an endocrinologist for appropriate interpretation of test results and dosing.
