She Changed My Life
Jackie was the 4th mental health professional I had seen to try to manage my debilitating anxiety and depression and from our first session I could tell things were going to be different. She immediately understood the actual underlying issues that needed to be addressed and gave me the tools to be able to manage them. The mental state I was in when I started seeing her is almost unrecognizable to me now. She is kind, patient, compassionate, empathetic, and competent in a way I have never encountered before. She is also amazing when it comes to prescribing medications. She prescribes thoughtfully and encourages patients to check in with her immediately if anything is awry with medications. I can't say enough good things to accurately convey how truly lucky I am to have started working with her.

Excellent Psychiatrist
I have read the reviews and given my experiences it is difficult to believe that the people who have left negative reviews have ever worked with Dr. Ball. I have worked with her for several years. She does more than provide excellent advice, she points out patterns and teaches skills that I find myself using again and again. The skills have changed my life more than has any prescription. She is also unafraid to call me out on BS from time to time which unfortunately sometimes needs to be done. Dr. Ball is also skilled in medication management and does a way better job than the "throw another med at the problem" psychiatrists I wasted time with in the past. The only reason I'm only leaving five stars is because I can't leave six.

Unprofessional
Consistently late, horrible bedside manner, goes on tangents about politics and actually compared my case to serious ones she had seen before in a rehabilitation clinic as a way to demonstrate how insignificant my struggles were. It was honestly crushing. I have never had a therapist like her before or since and I’m glad to have moved on.
