Had little in-person time with him. No prostate exam or bladder check (retained fluid), and he covered few issues listed in questionnaire filled out ahead of time. What was discussed was helpful and appreciated.

Nursing in Pre-op were outstanding. Procedures and expectations were thoughly given by Doctors and assistants. Ther were only 3 things that made this not excellant. My shoulder hurt extremly , I imagine it was pulled to get me in position for operation. The secound procedure was delated so that I returned to hospital room after 6 pm. Then I was told I need to produce 300 ml of urine before I could be discharged. I understand why but going 21 hours without water , I was hard pressed to urinate. after 3 hours I showed that I could urinate on my own. It was too late to drive 2 hours home , so we rented a motel room. IN the discharge papers there was no mention of pain pills available. So, the first night was very painful. I call Dr Farhi's office and they sent a scrip to my home pharmacy. I am now managing the recovery. Thank you for the overall excellant procedures.

Dr. Farhi was very professional, thorough, and compassionate. He provided excellent care and displayed extreme kindness toward me and my husband. I am very impressed by his professionalism and dedication to providing excellent care. I felt very heard by him.

Everything went as expected.

Went to the ER for lower back pain. CT scan revealed 9mm kidney stone. Saw Dr. Farhi who stated the kidney stone was not causing my back pain. Almost a month later I'm back in the ER for sharp pain in my side. Again, CT scan revealed a kidney stone in my right ureter.

Dr. Farhi's bedside manner is atrocious. After being seen in the ER and Urgent Care, I was referred to a Urologist about a kidney stone and extremely high ketone levels. After listening to 2 symptoms, he stopped me and diagnosed me with an overactive bladder. He ran no urine tests or blood tests to confirm or refute the ER's high ketone findings. But he did hand me a bag of random drug samples with no prescription information on them and told me to come back in 6 weeks. While I'm glad the kidney stone is not the cause and doesn't need surgery, I am getting progressively worse in other areas, and not a single test has been run since August 8th and it is now Sept 4th. Also, why on earth would it be appropriate to hand someone 6 bottles of drug samples with no drug interaction information, no side effect information, and no prescription label?

Dr Farhi explained the procedure clearly. I had a good outcome.

I would highly recommend Dr. Farhi. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and has good bedside manners. I was referred to Dr. Farhi, by Dr. Parra, a colleague of his, to surgically remove kidney stones. Dr. Farhi answered all my questions, and put my mind at ease before the surgery. He reassured me he would take good care of me, and I felt that he would! He took care of me before surgery, during surgery, and after surgery! Dr. Farhi is young and right out of med school, but don't let that scare you!! He is up to date on all the new technology in caring for his patients, and that's what you want. I am sure I will be seeing more of him in the future. He cleaned out my left kidney 90% and will look at my right kidney at another time. I appreciate that Dr. Farhi kept me comfortable with my pain level after surgery! He can do only one kidney at a time. Thank you, Dr. Farhi, for being a great doctor!
