I have been a patient long enough to discern that a high level of care is lacking. Doctor spends entire time typing notes while you talk, and not enough time actually assessing what your problem is. She is simply quick to prescribe pills rather than order diagnostics or give a referral if your problem is not her area of expertise. The patient portal is a joke. Only your vitals are logged, not after visit summaries or diagnosis. I don't think anyone in the office ever looks at it. I have serious health issues that went undetected until I self-referred to a specialist.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rhymes?
Dr. Rhymes cared for me when I was an inpatient at St Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga. The care she gave me was excellent but it was the extra mile she went to ensure my care was the best it could be. She listened to that voice in the back of your mind that says keep looking until you get an answer. Unknown to me there was documented evidence of a growth on my left lung. She discussed this finding with me and was surprised to find out I knew nothing about it. To make a long story short, I saw the Cardio/Thoracic surgeon, I had surgery to remove the tumor. A frozen section was examined and found to be malignant. I had the lower lobe of my lung removed. If not for Dr Rhymes I would have never known I had cancer. THANK YOU so much for your concern and for saving my life. God Bless you.
