Dr. Acosta is absolutely wonderful. I was hesitant from some reviews I had read, but clearly they were looking for narcotics they weren’t going to get. I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences from her. I had an emergency and she called me in the middle of the afternoon to resolve and try new medication. She listens to what’s wrong and takes into account what types of medicines you absolutely will not work with (due to past adverse reactions). She’s not a pusher. She listens and doesn’t rush a

Makes her own judgements and sticks to them, is not willing to understand conditions that she is unfamiliar with. When I expressed my concerns about her choice of medications she told me "Nobody is making you stay" and I left in tears. I will have to look elsewhere for help. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Since the first day, I felt relaxed with Dr. Acosta. She was able to reach out to me and that made me comfortable. I had a crisis because of unforeseen circumstances and when I went to her she dedicated way more than expected time with me. I appreciated that immensely because that made me feel that someone cared. I think as a patient that you also have to be able to express the reason why you are seeking help and the Dr. will be able to help you accordingly.

She is not an effective communicator. She doesn't seem to comprehend when an issue is being informed. She is somewhat cold, prideful, and does not engage with the patient. Personally, I felt helpless after seeing her twice. Although we must think for ourselves, but we also need someone to guide us into a solution, and she doesn't have the ability to do that
