“I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Jaehoon Chung. Despite being aware that I have only one kidney, he prescribed a blood pressure medication known to potentially harm kidney function. This decision put my health at risk and caused unnecessary stress. I expect a doctor to carefully consider a patient’s medical history before prescribing treatment. I would not recommend this provider to those who need thoughtful, individualized care.”

Dr. Chung is Amazing
My husband and I are Senior Citizens and have had a few previous cardiologists. What a pleasure to have found Dr. Chung. He is caring, attentive and takes the time to understand care of our hearts. He takes the time to explain procedures and conditions. We are so lucky to have found him; it's also obvious that he is brilliant and keeps up with the latest heart studies.

OVER READ CARDIAC MRI
THIS DR MISREAD MY CARDIAC MRI BY 600% POTENTIALLY RESULTING IN ME HAVING A DEFIBRULATOR IMPLANTED UNNECESSARILY!! LUCKILLY I GOT A 2ND OPINION AT MORRISTOWN HOSPITAL WHICH SAVED ME FROM UNDERGOING THIS PROCEDURE. HIS REPORT STATED THAT I HAD CARDIAC SCARING IN EXCESS OF 25%, WHEN IN REALITY IT WAS ONLY 4.43%!!WHEN I BROUGHT THIS TO DR. CHUNG'S ATTENTION HE BASICALLY IGNORED ME!! i COULD UNDERSTAND A DIFFERENCE OF 10% OR SO, BUT 600%?? NO WAY. HE IS NOT ONLY TOTALLY INMCOMPETENT IN READING A CARDIAC MRI, HE IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL TO HAVE IGNORRED ME ASKING HIM TO EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE. I ALSO ASKED HIM TO RECALCULTATE THE SCARING TO CONFIRM THE DIFFERENCE (15% IS THE TIPPING POINT) BUT HE JUST CHOSE TO IGNORE ME AND BLOCK ME FROM CONTACTING HIM AGAIN THROUGH THE PATIENT PORTAL. IF YOU WANT A REAL DR TO READ A CARDIAC MRI TO TO MORRISTOWN HOSPITAL WHERE THEY HAVE A SPECIALIST WHO IS ONE OF 30 THROUGHT THE COUNTRY. OTHERWISE, STICK WITH ENGLEWOOD HOSPITAL AND PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK

Watchman & T.E.E, at Englewood Hospital
Dr. Chung was at.both my Watchman implant operation & for the T.E.E. procedure to check on how the device Dr. Cheema implanted , both done at Englewood Hospital cath lab and cardiac Dept. - He explained the results very clearly to my wife, who was very satisfied with his explanations on how all went.He is very professional, knowledgeable & thorough I strongly recommend him and he put us totally at easy with his nice personality too-My highest praise to a fine doctor ! from : Mr. Robert Komar- (patient ).
