D.O.S. JAN - NOV '24: DR J.N. ZAMBROTTA, PHYSICIAN
Deemed obligatory, I (John) have chosen to share personal experiences involving myself and wife (Donna) as patients of Dr Zambrotta, serving physician. The timeframe spanned eleven months, a transitional period brought about by the retirement of our prior PCP of over 25 years. As for the disclosure of related facts, the overall purpose is to benefit Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic - Medical Group, ALL patients, and the Doctor, herself. John's experience with said physician initially involved his SERIOUS fall where MRI, X-RAY, and PT THERAPY tests required OUR request for same. Firstly assessed by Dr Zambrotta was a Dx of SCIATICA which was subsequently proven as INADEQUATE. Regarding a more recent D.O.S, Dr Zambrotta refused to provide ANY detail pertaining to the DERIVED Dx. Eventually, FURUNCLE, rendered by the physician, was discovered by the PATIENT via doc review. Unnecessary WAIT TIME (30 min) for FLU SHOT brought to Doctor's attention. Wife's concerns - separate cover.

Very unprofessional in retrospect...
There's not enough characters allowed on here to tell the whole story but here's the outcome. Dr Zambrotta agreed to lower my dosage of statin due to consistent elevation of my enzymes which I continued to voice concern. She offered no answer as to how high they would get only to say we don't need to worry yet. Would like to know what we plan to do when they get that high then. I rather not have to deal with liver failure when it gets to that point. Zambrotta agreed to lower my dosage to 20mg. She asked if they were scored. I said I don't know. Why don't I check when I get home. If not, I'll contact you. They were not scored. I contacted her thru the portal. No reply. 4 days later I received a reply. She changed her mind abt lowering the dosage. Meanwhile, I discarded the 40mg statin in anticipation of the 20mg. Replied knowing I'd discarded the old med and made a decision without me knowing as to my medical welfare. Called office talked to a nurse said she'd call back. Never heard bac

Most Caring Doctor
I have never had a doctor make me feel like I was so important. She takes the time to understand my questions and gives me the straight answers. Every visit with her is a comfortable meeting and always informative.

Dr. Zambrotta was condescending and outright dismissive of my concerns. Further, she ignored my request for follow-up - it took multiple voicemail requests over a week apart to receive any response.

A
My situation is difficult to explain, but I will go into full detail. I had surgery... and Dr. Jaime Zambrotta was the doctor the hospital assigned me to see 1 week later in my post-op. I did not know her. The day of my appointment (a week after my surgery) I went and explained to her that I was feeling very bad, my symptoms were: pain when voiding, my urine had a strange smell and severe pain in the area of the operation, my neck was suddenly tightening, I was excessively thirsty and I was still having difficulty breathing.... I explained to her that I had doubts that the Klebsiella Pneumoniae that was detected the day of the operation had not gone away, that I had reached that point because also my glucose in the morning was higher, I did not have fever but I had other symptoms that were affecting my health and everything indicated that something was wrong with me, she said that everything was normal and that I did not have fever so there was no infection, we explained that I have never had fever but the smell of the urine and my other symptoms indicated something because I was not like this. ... but she was not even interested... but she dared to say that the glucose was not bad, as if she did not know how the blood glucose works in the presence of an infection. So I left her office exactly as I came in, a waste of time, thinking "everything is normal" ... to shut my mouth she asked for thyroid tests with two poor markers (T3 and T4) (as if that was enough to detect thyroid problems) I explained that my other doctors also checked the whole picture, I showed her the information and she replied that I did not need more studies and that she was not going to send them to me (surely it was too difficult to check if I had urinary infection or white blood cells). After a week I went to the emergency room because the pain was more unbearable and my family was worried because it seemed that my health was declining, I no longer moved much I stopped standing up to go to eat and I preferred to be in bed, when the surgery is supposed to be able to walk and be fine the next day and I had been declining for 2 weeks. In the ER they found that I had a bad urinary tract infection that was NOT rooted the day of surgery so I almost had more than 2 weeks with an infection, have you ever wondered how sepsis starts? In the ER there was also a problem with the doctor almost discharging me without checking my labs and I was saved by the nurses and my partner (but this is another story). When I texted Dr. Jaime to tell her what had happened, she was not interested in the least... I tried to arrange the passes and give her a chance, I remarked my concern and if she could send me labs please... because even though the infection was being attacked and eliminated I still had other strong symptoms and felt bad... she did not care she said NO and did not make the slightest effort to refer me to any endocrinologist. So please run away from doctors who just stand around in the morning and don't want to care about YOUR health.

A breathe of fresh air
Everything about our visit was fantastic. Dr. Zambrotta is everything you want in a doctor. She took her time, listened closely, conducted a thorough exam and offered great advice. I was concerned that my Dad wasn't getting proper care from his primary care doctor. I called the office and they got us in the same day. The office staff was caring and helpful and went above and beyond to care for us when we had a slight emergency on the way into the building. I will always be grateful for the level of care we received. This place is top notch! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
