Dr Eswara is the perfect balance of kindness & competence. The procedure gave me back my continence & I could not have asked for a more caring professional. He even called my wife to tell her how the surgery went.

Great doctor!
I had a bladder reconstructive surgery performed by Dr Eswara last year after some complications after another surgery. Dr Eswara is such a nice doctor and has always put me at ease after talking with him. The surgery was one if the biggest surgeries I have ever had which required me to be home with a catheter for 2 weeks after but he explained everything to me at my first appt with him. He is a very good doctor and you will be in good hands with him!

Highly recommend him
Dr Jairam Eswara instills confidence in his care. He is reassuring and helps me feel better. Dr Eswara acts like a friend who is a doctor and is definitely concerned about his patients more than himself. He is a devoted doctor who is positive, extremely knowledgeable, amiable, understanding, diligent, punctual, and provides me with sound advice. He communicated with me when it was important and when I needed the most. He is one of the nicest and kindest doctors I have ever seen.

Amazing Compassion and Competance
Dr Eswara treated me for an emergent devastating high risk urologic condition. I had seen other physicians in RI and CT who were uncaring and offered me no help I spent days searching each hospital and checking the credentials of each urologist. Dr Eswara was profoundly compassionate, bright and confident. He did my high risk surgery on the evening of my visit and I was sent home in good condition. I never ever met a physician who was so humble and truely cared about me. I will forever have gratitude toward him. I was a physician for 35 yrs. When it came to picking out the best for me, I knew what to look for. I do not believe it is possible to find a brighter, more able, and more compassionate physician than him. His office and whole team were great.

Dr. Eswara is an exceptional physician who is technically qualified to deal with the most complex bladder related conditions. While there maybe other equally qualified caregivers, few possess the empathy and compassion that expresses each day. It is truly reassuring that there are physicians who possess these virtues.

Dr Eswara treated me for renal carcinoma. He was caring, competent compassionate and dedicated through a surgery that became a life threatening illness due to vascular complications. He saved my life. He also kept my daughters informed as they waited through a week of uncertainty- texting them at 4 AM when he completed a surgical intervention and keeping them informed and hopeful. An Amazing Doctor, this is high praise coming from a patient who is also a nurse.

Performed a urinary diversion on me. Leaked incessantly. Had NO answers....just said "this has never happened before" did not reach out to peers. Scans also showed blockage in ureter and swelling of kidney. Said dont worry. Kidney then died. Horrible doctor. So glad he is leaving Brigham Womens.

Disgusting condensending individual, said he'll treat my father, took over him as a patient and never followed up, zero communication. And we insisted on his mistake to be addressed more concretely, we were denied from receiving a care from any of their urologist at their office.

Superb physician for male urinary reconstruction....solved a 50 year old problem for me that many others - even within the Boston community - could not solve. Very warm and positive person, always focused on my input, open and easy communication.

He followed me after I had a nicked bladder from a c-section. His communication or should I say lack of communication was awful. When I was sever pain due to having a catheter for 3 weeks, he was rude and condescending. He said I could cut my catheter out myself if it hurt that bad- and that he can't just do things with a snap of a finger. I've never felt so degraded and talked down to by a doctor. :/ He was very unprofessional, and I'm sad to have had to deal with him as a patient.
