Dr. Jakub Sikora, MD

I am from North Dakota. I researched and found Dr. Sikora. He did not disappoint. I had two back surgeries. One in November of 2023. The other February of 2024. My quality of life is so much better. Dr. Sikora and his team had one concern--- me. He's a fantastic listener. Responsive to questions. He earned my implicit trust and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sikora is great to interact with and explains medical issues and causes in a concise easy and many times amusing manner.

Had a pinched nerve in my lower back which made walking painful with every step. Dr Sikora cleaned up the the surface of the vertebrae and inserted spacers which opened the nerve channel. This involved two incisions, one on either side of the spine and holding the vertebrae in place with three screws on each side (6) total, this made the three vertebrae very rigid and they cannot move. After two days my my back pain (lower l & r butt area) was gone, the only discomfort remaining was from the incisions. It has been exactly one months since this procedure was performed and the results have been unbelievable. I would recommend Dr Sikora to anyone requiring back surgery, he is awesome.

From the moment Dr. Sikora walked into the room on our first visit I knew I was in the right place. I had seen another Doctor but was not comfortable with his recommendations. Dr Sikora was so friendly but very professional and confident with what needed to be done. Five stars is not really enough. I would tell everyone that is looking for a great Doctor that they have found one here.

I've had 2 back surgeries. One in Germany before they did artificial discs in the USA and now one with Dr Sikora here in Utah. Germany was considered world renowned that's why I went there. Dr Sikora was better in every aspect compared to my experience in Germany. I don't know how you could do a better job than Dr Sikora does. His level of knowledge, understanding and expertise paired with his ability to explain it to you and make you comfortable with all aspects of these huge decisions in your life is remarkable. If you have back pain go see Dr Sikora above all else in Utah. I can't recommend him more.

Dr Sikora had performed a surgery on my back. In my first appointment he reviewed my options, explained my back problems.Answered all my questions.Had explain to me the procedure he was going to perform, risks, recovery and the out coming after the surgery.It had been three weeks after my surgery,l feel so blessed everything went excellent.Dr Sakura is an excellent Surgeon, Kind and caring person.

I had a severe cervical spinal stenosis to the point I was losing control of my arm. After working with Dr Sikora, we went ahead with disk replacement. Though the surgery was tough (for him, not for me) the surgery was a complete success and I have regained control of my arm and no more pain.

Dr. Sikora was very personable and took the time to explain everything as well as answer questions. He is a very skilled surgeon and excellent at communicating.

Starting from introducing himself and the handshake, Dr. Sikora was wonderful. Talked with me on my level, definitely showed care and concern. I've never had a surgeon call me before, but he called me before I went in for surgery to inform me that my insurance declined it. He then called the insurance company and went to bat for me and got them to reverse it. Saw me before the surgery and he called me the day after surgery to make sure everything was going well. I am so glad that we were sent to him for my spinal surgery.

I’ve struggled with lower back pain for decades and have seen several doctors about it. Dr Sikora was the first to take x-rays in multiple positions to see what the vertebrae was actually doing. I am also very happy with his active approach to recovery. I have already recommended him to family and friends.

After suffering for 3 months with excruciating nerve pain I was losing hope. I met with Dr. Sikora and instantly knew he was going to help me. He was so kind. Explained my injury in a way I understood. We decided surgery was the best option. I had a lumbar microdiscectomy and can say for me it was 100% worth it. I have no more pain. I can hike again and ties my shoes without pain. I would recommend Dr Sikora to anyone in need of a surgeon. He’s kind and truly cares about his patients. I’m forever grateful !

While this surgery wasn't a 'walk in the park,' if you have to have it you can't go wrong with Dr. Sikora & his team. They were all top notch, patient with my (seemingly) never-ending questions, explained the procedure thoroughly & were caring throughout the initial consults & post-surgery rehab. I had phone calls at home from both Dr. Sikora & Ally (his PA) asking how I was getting along. That was unexpected but a nice touch demonstrating their commitment to patient care. This is the 'go to' team & I won't hesitate to recommend them if I'm ever asked.

The doctor and staff were all very professional and gave me the best treatment possible. My problem was quickly identified, and surgery was performed. Everything went smoothly.

I went to see Dr. Sikora to get a second opinion before having back surgery. He and his staff were very friendly willing to listen to my concerns about having back surgery. He alleviated myconcerns and I decided to have him perform my lumbar laminectomy. It ha# been three weeks since my surgery. The numbness and pain in legs and feet are gone. Although I am just starting physical therapy my back feels really good. I highly recommend Dr. Sikora and his staff for back spine surgery

Dr. Sikora treated me as though I was Family. He is very good at what he does. The BEST !! He is true to his word and back's it up with skill and knowledge. I was in severe pain for over 6 month's and then was referred to him. Shortly there after within a matter of minutes I was pain free!! Everyone in his office treated me with kindness and respect.
