He went the extra mile
Just before an endoscopy with my gastroenterologist April 2nd, he came into my changing room to introduce himself and ask if I had any concerns. I said that I'd had an unusual reaction to the anesthesia administered in a previous procedure. He raised his eyebrows, asked me a few more questions about the previous experience, and said he would take a careful look at my records right now to make sure I had no problems this time. And sure enough, I felt much better after this test.
