I think overall Maxey is a very caring doctor and he is noticeably a sharp person. I originally went to him for a sinus infection that would not clear up for months. It was kind of like he didn't pay any attention to me when I told him several times about sinus problems. He didn't send me to a nose specialist or give more medication for that. I went to another doctor before Maxey and was given one set of antibiotics. That doctor told me that I might need another set of antibiotics. I told Maxey about the prior office visit to the other doctor.. Well, I continued to treat the sinus infection on my own. Dr Maxey had me doing numerous tests for breathing, but directly unrelated to my sinus. In fact, the people that administered the tests (for heart and lungs) seemed surprised when I told them that I still had sinus problems. Sinus is a breathing problem. So really I don't think Maxey listens that well.
