Welcome to The Biemer Country Club. Dr. Biemer now asks for a $720 annual -um- inducement just to have the privilege to schedule an appointment with him. He wants to see less patients and apparently those meager fees he's getting through the US healthcare system just don't make him happy enough. This is seriously messed up and great example of the egotism and greed rampant in this industry. Medical care for members only; is this the type of morality we should expect in our doctors? Has the AMA replaced ethics with economics? Is this truly anything more than a way to keep the riff-raff out of the waiting room without setting up that awkward minimum patient income level requirement? As the Good Lord and the Sisters of Providence surely know, this society needs more socioeconomic division - and what better place than the Doctor's Office? Next year he'll introduce different membership levels for further stratification; tiered wait times, separated lobbies, ect... Good job Doc - sleep well.
