Waited an hour to be seen. Walked in didn’t even ask me about my symptoms with my knee pain. Just said nothing is wrong with you after reviewing an MRI that was over 3 years old! Didn’t bother to ask me much of anything like how the pain has increased significantly the last year! Totally blew me off. He was awful

I was referred to Dr. Burke by MoBap ER for a fibula break. He didn’t introduce himself, just came in and started yanking my foot in the split. When I winced in pain, he told me I couldn’t be in pain with a splint on. He spent the rest of the appointment scoffing at me and rolling his eyes when I described waking up screaming in pain after the injury despite taking morphine. Instead of asking an SINGLE question about my pain, he kept repeating that “there’s no reason you should be in this much pain.” He told me to not “interrupt” him when I began to cry out of frustration. Another doctor was quickly able to diagnose partial compartment syndrome and treat it, alleviating my symptoms. Dr. Burke claimed he had “no idea” why I might be in pain despite compartment syndrome being standardly assessed for ortho cases where pain level seems disproportionate to the injury. He also missed damage to my deltoid ligament which is common in 40% of this injury! So glad I didn’t let him operate!

I had tennis related knee problem, he quickly diagnosed the problem and removed the excess fluid followed by steroid injection! Thank you! I strongly recommend Dr. James Burke!

What an outstanding experience! Everyone was so helpful, kind and professional. I can't tell u enough to trust Dr. Burke, and his staff. I was walking by myself no problems after getting home . THATS UNBELIEVABLE! Knee area did not hurt at all. I know I'm on prescribed drugs right now but nothing with compare to bone on bone pain. The doctor said it was in terrible condition. Dr. BURKE is fabulous. Highly recommend his service. The process was very quite, the staff was outstanding, helpful and everyone was highly skilled and very knowledgeable. Overall OUTSTANDING!!

Dr. Burke is the best. He provides honest, realistic feedback. He is passionate about helping people heal and get back to their active lives. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Doctor to give an honest evaluation and realistic options.

I was referred to Dr Burke by Dr O'Boynick for further review on my hip. This office, staff & nursing is Amazing to them unlike many other places you go your à person not just à body. I saw Dr. Burke he as well awesome, no rush totally addressed all concerns I had an put me at ease regarding my issue. Not once did I feel rushes or leave with any what if thoughts or worries. I cannot say enough about the professionnalism & care in this office. So if you have any kind of ortho issue look no further with Dr Burke & Dr O'Boynick no matter how far you have to drive and my drive well over hour from Illinois and trust me its worth every minute in vehicle to go here. This is 1 patient that knows I have found the best 2 drs in both states to handle my issues. I'm am so grateful. So do yourself à favor you want honest & caring drs this is place to go.

Dr Burke saw me in the Hospital and spent the time to sit down and explain everything to me. In the office he was the same.
