misdiagnosed as bipolar by dr. cho
dr. cho diagnosed me with bipolar when i was 18. now at 25, thanks to the most incredible psychiatrist & therapist, i am properly diagnosed as ADHD. dr. cho convinced me i was manic, which still traumatizes me today. he told me i would become schizophrenic and “end up homeless doing drugs” if i stopped my bipolar treatment. this kept me from receiving a proper diagnoses for 7 years. he had me on 6 medications at once, taking them multiple times each day. i am now receiving ADHD treatment and have never been so stable & happy. i will never get the 7 years back i lost, and i will forever carry the weight of those years with me. forever thankful to the real!!! health care team i found. do not see dr. cho, i hope i can help others!

He is arrogant and not very nice
Telehealth
Not only were appointments less than 5 minutes long, during which he only asked questions about my appearance, but then it took him more than 9 months to bill the appointment to me (I sure bet he billed insurance right away)

Thorough, Straightforward, and Supportive
Been seeing Dr. Cho for nearly a decade. He is extremely thorough, detail oriented, and a good listener. Very good about explaining rx side effects and possible interactions to watch out for. His admin is responsive by SMS text message when scheduling appointments.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cho for over four years. He always does his best to help me find affordable treatments that fit my lifestyle. Although appointments can feel rushed at times (no more than any other provider), Dr. Cho takes time to listen to my symptoms and struggles. His care has allowed me to overcome much of my depression and anxiety and accomplish my goals.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Cho?
Dr. Cho has always rushed our appointments. I frequently have to call since they either don't send all my prescriptions over, send the wrong prescriptions, or send them to the wrong pharmacy. He talks the majority of the time during the appointment so I don't feel like my needs are being heard. I'd say 50% of the appointments felt rushed but he still acknowledges all concerns I have. He has been good with offering non-prescription treatment options which has been nice. He's a nice guy but I don't recommend him as a psychiatrist.
