Dr. James Cort, MD

The first thing that alerted me that I was in the right place on my first visit was I had no insurance and he refused to charge me for the visit. I have never had a doctor pay attention to detail like Dr. Cort. He took the time to answer all my questions and even though he had other patients waiting he didn't try to rush me out of his office,. He listens and does not talk over you, neither does he dismiss your concerns and fears. He takes the time to explain whatever he is prescribing for your and gives you the pros and the cons of the medication. I wouldn't trade the wait time to be anywhere else because this is a unique doctor that won't be found anywhere else. His bedside mannerism is above the board. He doesn't just rush in and rush out when he does his rounds, he finds out how you are doing and he LISTEN!!! He is a man of his word. If he says it, he does it. I pray he never retires!!!!

Dr. James T. Cort has been my Primary Care Physician for 25 + years. He is not only my doctor, but he is my family doctor as well. He is not only our doctor, but our friend. He is a very caring person. He will make sure your health needs are taken care of. If there is a need for him to refer you to a specialist, he does not hesitate to do exactly that. Dr. Cort is not a doctor to rush through your office visits. He makes sure that you understand whatever you need to know about your visit and what you need to do to stay healthy. If there is a need for you to be hospitalized he will be there to see you daily and his beside manner is superb. I would recommend Dr. Cort in a heart beat to anyone that needs a Primary Care Physician/Family Doctor.

Dr.Court was knowledgeable patient courteous and conducted a thorough exam.

Not good he was not mom Dr for years but wouldn’t let her sign self out of hospital cuz she sat in feces for hours at hospital or let me transfer her to her doctor hospital then trying to make a psychological evaluation that’s not needed all because he want to get paid them four days hospital stay

I like everything about Dr Cort. Problem: I have NEVER received a bill. I asked his staff what amount do I owe. Answer: Check your insurance statements.

Trying to call his office and no answer. Machine is full and my uncle has been a patient of his for many years. How do I get in touch with Dr Cort. My uncle is released from the hospital and need to get in touch with him. Unacceptable for his PCP is not available and no communication to what is going on!!!!

If your looking for a doctor who listens to your concerns, this is the doctor for you. Easy to talk with and directs you in the right plan of care. Very knowledgeable doctor. I would highly recommend him. He also has an excellent office staff as well.
