Dr. James Dodds, MD

My appointment with Dr Dodds was the worst of any doctor I have seen over the years. He failed to look at my entire medical record or maybe he did and did not care that he prescribed an NSAID drug that is known for raising blood pressure, causing more fluid to build up in the heart and causing it to work harder, possibly cause a heart attack, stroke and renal failure. If he truly looked at my records he would have known i have cardiovascular disease and on three scripts to lower my blood presure and his script is the opposite of that. He failed to document the visist in the notes that all doctors do in patient records. It may have been that i am on a medicare advantage medical plan or that i am married to a man. 'Do Not Go To This Doctor.' If i hadn't called my cardiologist and double check on his script recomendation, I could have ended up in the hospital or worse, died.

Dr Dodds did my right total knee replacement. Very minimal pain and recovery is advancing much quicker than the 1st replacement done by another doctor. He thoroughly explained the technique with the robotic assistance. I had a little BP issue and he aired on the side of caution and addressed and monitored the situation. I am completely satisfied with the experience and would choose Dr.Dodds again for any orthopedic needs I have.

Dr Dodds did an excellent job. Explained everything in detail and gave good instructions for after surgery and rehab.

Following a car accident many years earlier, I was in need of bilateral knee replacements. Dr. Dodds did a superior job of repairing both of my knees. His kindness, compassion, and friendly personality went a long way in aiding my recovery. The office staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

Dr. Dodds did emergency surgery on my mother. She broke her hip as a result of falling. My mother has dementia and mental illness. He treated her with great respect and dignity. He explained what needed to happen and listened to our concerns. Dr. Dodds presented himself like a gentleman. After the surgery, he sat down with us and explained the procedure that had taken place and presented the plan of rehabilitation. Feel truly blessed that he was the person there for my mom.

This Doctor has a very very bad bed side manner, & is rude, & you wait for two hours & then put you in a room & forget you!!!! I do not recommend this doctor, if you are in pain, & cant afford to wait......sad sad man!!!!!
