Dr Duke performed my second knee replacement surgery at West Marion.prior to my surgery I had only met with him once. Immediately after the surgery I could tell there was something wrong. Everyone brushed me off. Saying it’s normal. This was far worse than my first knee replacement. I complained about pain! I was ignored! I struggled with therapy at home. I was called by W Marion asking how my pain management was going. I told them it was terrible. Never heard back from them. After 2 weeks with swollen leg and pain it was diagnosed with cellulitis. The first thing out of the PAs mouth was you didn’t get it from us. Then I was notified Dr Duke was taking time off for his own medical issues. I made one visit to Dr duke’s office and then decided to seek medical help elsewhere as they were not meeting my needs. I struggle for almost a year after surgery. It is better now but not 100%. I realize things can happen. That is when someone’s true identity shows. This practice failed!!

If you need a knee replacement Dr. Duke is the one to see. Excellent doctor, excellent staff, I was always treated with respect from everyone in the organization. Their protocols for everything including pain management are outstanding. I am now in out-patient physical therapy and recovery is going very well. Two days short of a month, and I barely use a cane. I can not recommend Dr. Duke enough.

Dr Duke is very personable. His office is run like a well oiled machine. Everyone is so nice and goes out of their way to make the patient comfortable.

I arrived maybe 5 minutes before my actual appointment time. The paperwork was already completed, so I waited about 5 - 7 minutes or so in the waiting room. I was weighed, taken for x-rays, and taken to the room to be seen. Waiting time in that room was maybe 10 minutes. Dr. Duke was personable, knowledgeable, and informative. He answered my questions (which I'm sure he's answered similar questions all the time!). Highly recommended and a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and likeable.

Dr. Duke and his entire staff were excellent. My knee replacement went perfectly and everything went as advertised. Dr. Duke is an excellent surgeon and has a great bedside manner.

Excellent, this was my first knee replacement surgery with Dr. Duke but my wife had two. We wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr Duke was very thorough explaining my condition and best option approach. Answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. Dr Duke spoke with me post op to be certain that I was ready to go home as my total hip replacement was handled as outpatient! His staff coordinated everything from pre op screening, day of surgery and post op home health care and PT. Friendly courteous and so pleasant to help in any way possible.

I believe the support staff are excellent and provided me all the information I needed about schedule and preparation. I do however, wish that I had spent more time asking Dr. Duke about the knee replacement hardware and looking at an example of the materials. I was so overwhelmed with his confidence and explanation of the procedure that I just walked out without asking those kinds of questions. I would like to know more about the Zimmer replacement materials and hardware. Trying to learn that online now.

I went to see Dr.Duke with severe knee pain. I was seen by his PA Courtney. She did an x-ray and said maybe it was arthritis? Nothing she could see. She did a cortisone shot to help the pain. I left and was told I could get a series of shots from another Dr. if I was having pain. ( In their group) I went to their recommendation and went for four weeks with knee pain, a shot a week. I ended up having an MRI done by my family doctor and I have a torn meniscus and a few other things. I am getting surgery. Thanks Dr. Dukes office for wasting my time, gas, x-ray, shots, and unnecessary insurance claims,because I was diagnosed by a PA who was totally unconcerned, unless you need a new knee....extra$$$ for them.

I felt very comfortable with the diagnosis and recommendations made in my visit to Dr. Duke. I feel his treatment will have wonderful results.
