I complained for months of worsening pain, tingling and numbness in the left side of my neck down to my left hand. I was constantly told by Dr. Ecklund that I just needed physical therapy and there was "nothing surgically wrong" with me- even though no tests were done to prove this. Now after 20 months of agony, a new surgeon finds Ecklund did not properly decompress my spinal cord and I'm left with permanent nerve damage. All I can do now is count on the medical board and attorneys to fix it.

Dr Ecklund is a kind, consummate professional. He operated on my spine, after other neurosurgeons had told me I would be in a wheel chair for the rest of my life. Since my surgery, I have returned to walking, running, dancing, and everyday life. I am 96% pain free. Dr Ecklund listens, is caring, and not arrogant like so many other neurosurgeons. I highly recommend he and his staff.!.
