Dr. James Fishman, MD

Dr Fishman seemed very impatient like he had heard it all before, no need to listen, cuts you off, finishing your sentences - I said to him, that's really not what happened and he continued to talk over me anyhow. I think he is getting ready to retire because he acts as if you are a nuisance and he seems like he no longer wants to be there. He could not have cared less.

Doctor was would not listen and was dismissive. His billing office is incompetent. They Kept billing me directly instead of my insurance, which forced me to call my insurance company and do their job for them.

I would recommend Dr. Fishman to anyone considering a vasectomy. He explained everything thoroughly and is excellent. The appointment went well, he’s clearly done thousands of these procedures.

Had a prior doctor give misinformation, Dr. Fishman is patient and understanding. I am a nervous type and his staff was excellent. I am now on the path to health

Absolutely quick and efficient, talked through the procedure explaining everything thoroughly, only took a total of 20 mins and felt no pain. The only thing you might feel is the local anesthesia which feels like a light snap

Very impressed with my visit. I had a failed procedure from another provider who wanted to rush me back into another surgery when, as it turned out I didn't need the surgery. The Dr. is brief but to the point and very experienced. The staff were very courteous and professional since day 1 which unfortunately has not been the case with other medical offices in the area. Good office experience but felt rushed when giving my urology history. Dr Fishman listened attentively then asked questions. Refreshing to have a doctor ACTUALLY LISTEN.

Exceptional service from start to finish. I had recently changed providers and the office staff took care of everything. From my initial consult with Dr. Fishman to the day of my procedure he was available for any and all questions. On the day of my scheduled surgery I was a bit nervous and Dr. Fishman narrated everything that he was doing and it actually put me at ease. He was even explaining the procedure to my partner (who is a nurse) as she accompanied me into the exam room. Thorough instructions for outpatient and staff phoned in my prescription to the pharmacy. Once the alloted time passed and I submitted my sample for testing, his office provided immediate notification by telephone upon receiving results from the clinic. Complete success and Inwould recommend Dr. Fishman to anyone serious about permanent male sterilization.

I am so glad I found Dr. Fishman. After a horrible experience with another Urologist I made an appointment with Dr. Fishman. He is professional and very thorough. I would highly recommend him to be your urologist.

I did take the time to read all of his paperwork that was issued, I suggest everyone do the same. Following his recommendations I experienced no unforecasted discomfort, and the discomfort I did experience was well managed by his recommendations. I couldn't be happier with how my experience went with Dr Fishman. I had a bit of trepidation due to the sensitive nature of the procedure I was to receive, and Dr Fishman did a marvelous job of making me feel comfortable and I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and proficient. I'm glad that this practice is the one I decided on.

His staff is completely incompetent. They know it and don't care. Dr. Fishman was my urologists for about two years. I just can't stand dealing with his incompetent staff any longer. They can't be trusted.

I seen Dr. Fishman for about 3 minutes, he suggested some testing he wanted on my condition, he stated that his office would contact me to schedule the testing. That was the last I heard from anyone from Dr. Fishman's office. I did of course 2-3 weeks later hear from them regarding a co-pay they needed me to pay.

Doctor can only be as good as the staff, called for urgent apt, as established patient, after 5 days still no call, caregiver to patient

Dr. Fishman is very professional and good at what he do. Very warm, polite and thoughtful. During the procedure he made sure to explain each step and warn you for any potential discomfort. Ten hours after the operation, haven't felt anything too painful yet. Looking good.

Saw Dr. Fishman for a vasectomy, he was professional, quick, and explained everything. No pain on recovery, just a little ache. I expected much worse. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fishman and his staff.

I was disappointed. The doctor is fantastic but his instructions to staff regarding completing an internet medication requirement are disconnected with the staff. And this is the second time in two years this has happened. I gave up then and I give up now. I emailed and called the doctor with no response. When they finally answered, I got this disconnect. I recommend the doctor but not the staff. It was like the assistant had just had an argument with another patient.

5 months after my vasectomy I still experience pain with erections. They wont answer the phone or return messages. So I am scheduling an appointment with another urologist.

I recently had TURP surgery by Dr. Fishman. The nature of the procedure itself was something I was dreading and did not want to go through. As it turned out, because of Dr. Fishman I cannot be any more pleased with the outcome of the surgery. I am so glad that I had the procedure. Dr. Fishman is very highly respected by the other professionals at the hospital where I had surgery.
