Dr. James Freeman, MD

Unpleasant experience with this doctor. Very condescending in his tone. My last visit with him, he was not nice at all! I would never go back to him as I've never had a doctor talk to me like that & never will again! Completely unacceptable. Don't recommend at all.

Dr. Freeman takes time with patients. He was my doctor for over 13 years (I moved to another state). I recommended Dr. Freeman to my friends and they were very happy with the care he provided.

Dr. freeman is one of the best doctors I ever see, he treated my mom a few years ago, he was and he is really kind, friendly and funny, all the staff that works with him is really great, I really appreciate all the help and patience that they had to me and my family

Dr. Freeman is a an excellent clinician and brilliant diagnostician. Primary care physicians see, treat and refer. If you are fortunate to be referred to Dr. Freeman consider it a blessing. If you researched and took a chance like I did; you have chosen an excellent doctor and surgeon. He takes his time to know you, not just your condition that brings you to his office. He goes beyond that! He demonstrates a passion for his 34 years of practice and experience. Since he is so very thorough, you may have to wait an extra 15 minutes or so but the service you receive will far outweigh that wait time. If after this review, if you are still uncertain, try a consult with him, you will be pleased, guaranteed! He is popular. When you book your appointment, try not to cancel the appointment. There are people who book one year in advance at the time of their annual visit. I plan to be one of those patients!

My Name is Mekdes. I would like to share a little about my experiences with Dr. Freeman. Dr. Freeman Saved my life. This Doctor is man like angle. He is a man of God. He is been with me during the roughest months/years of my life and I am thankful that through his care, and expertise. Everyone working his office is great, really nice and they help me through everything I’ve never experienced. I am always thanks God how can I and my husband found him just by online reviews search. I love Dr. Freeman! My first C-section with another Dr. was horrible - it was rushed and had me in the hospital for 10 days with a serious infection. When I had my second baby - I went to Dr. Freeman. He took such good care of me and my baby. I had another C-section (10.5) pounds but this time was so different. No infections - took care of me before, during and after the surgery. I know God sent him to me and I thank Him and Dr. Freeman for taking care of us. Dr. Freeman's staff WONDERFUL

I was very worried that this would be another rushed visit with out eye contact from another over booked obgyn. I was both surprised & relieved to find a doctor who has dedicated his life to serve women . What a legacy! He is old school . His bedside manner is not something new doctors learn. I have been going to Dr Freeman for a few years now. He is absolutely an incredible doctor who cares about his patients. From my very first visit, he spent time getting to know me (& my husband) personally. I never feel rushed when he is in the room. He’s extremely patient & thorough in every issue or concern we have had. He found & (surgically) removed my fibroids which other OBGYNs never found. He is literally the sweetest doctor we have ever met & the only reason why we drive from alpharetta.

I absolutely love Dr. Freeman, because he is one of a very small percentage of doctors who take their time with you as a patient. I love that he really cares about his patients. Every time that I have gone to him, he has taken the time to answer all my questions. When he had to perform surgery on me, I had the utmost confidence in him.

After this Dr’s great 1st impression, it was his last. He obviously has too many patients than he can comfortably manage (given his private practice has no mid-level providers to assist). No surprise given his lack of professionalism (which transfers to the office staff & is reflected in communication). Annoyance of any request excluding a co-pay is the standard here. His level of respect w/patients requires much improvement but, given his age, it would probably be easier to retire. Appts scarce

My experience with this office has been a very positive one. Dr. Freeman is very consciencous, thorough, is interested in the whole person and spent an exceptional amount of time interviewing me on my first visit. He likes to teach which resulted in very thorough answers to my questions which I appreciated very much. As a medical professional, myself, I am very impressed with the level of care I received from Dr. Freeman and his staff.

Dr. Freeman was very patient as I described things I noticed were happening with my body. He was very empathetic to my pain and discomfort. After listening to me he was able to give me a diagnosis and provide me with information to find out more about my condition. As my condition progressed and my best option became to have surgery he walked me through the process and everything went fine. He has been the best doctor I have ever had. I recommend him to everyone I can.

I've never had a doc that cared like Dr. Freeman.His medical expertise, was right on. He never rushes you.He found cancer, and did surgery. Also, in the community, his reputation, is above reproach. I am a seasoned lady, and have never had anyone.. come near his level. He is the best! Wish there were more like him.
