Needs license revoked
He is a know it all and just about killed my elderly parents. He had refused to let them see specialists for years for things that clearly needed to be addressed by specialists! He was rude and threatening to them. Family removed them from his care and are now receiving quality care.

Proceed with caution!
Dr Frommer was the primary care physician for my parents and I am here to tell you to proceed with caution if you are considering using this practice. If you question any aspect of his plan of care it can get ugly and you will be met with anger and threats and accusations . Their office idols not utilize electronic records so you never see pertinent information and he just tells you that you are fine and he studies so that he can take care of you. He refused to allow my elderly parents to ever see a specialist for serious health issues. I was glad when they agreed to leave his practice.

NEEDS HIS LICENSE TAKEN AWAY FROM HIM
Dr. Frommer is a joke of a Dr. I originally thought he was good. Until I had COVID in November 2021 and he sent me for chest X-rays. I did not know what was found in those X-rays until July 2022 when he sent me for a CT scan of my abdomen area. It was found in November of 2021 that I have a huge parasopghegeal hernia that has my entire stomach in it!!!I found that out before he told me.... What a completely horrible Dr!!!He needs to be banned from practicing. I also now realize why I was 99% of the time the ONLY patient in his waiting room every time I was there..Horrible!!!Do not go to him.

Utter Disbelief
Well, I have gone to Dr. Frommer for about 3 years now and up to this point he has been polite and seemed to hear what I said. However, this last visit not sure what set him off put he went over the deep end. Yelling and telling me he called a script in neither I or my husband were aware was being called in. We thought he gave my husband samples to try and would review when we went back. In any event, I told him it was lack of communication and that s not the first time this happened. In any event there was no record of either of our pharmacist receiving the script. Yet he ranted on and on and he ended up telling us perhaps we should look for another Dr. So we picked up our coats and left never to return. He has a problem not sure what it is but in the 3 yrs or so we have gone to him this was like a totally different person. Don't need the frustration.

If I could copy and paste all of the other reviews their adjectives and experiences are on point. Ignorant, no bed side manner, lack of compassion, doesn't listen - mister know it all. His way or no way. I can confirm he loses his temper and yells. I told him I went to a specialist for a particular issue and he accused me of not trusting him, how can he trust me how does he know I am not a druggie or thief (because he cannot trust me). And he wont remember you from appointment to appointment. Stay Away.

In 2020, at the height of the Global Pandemic, Dr. Frommer refused to have his staff wear masks or social distance in defiance of the State of Emergency, PA Health Dept. and CDC guidelines. When questioned, he dismissed the need for precautions as unnecessary. So, I followed DOH guidelines and reported him for flagrantly defying the Governor's legal order. He subsequently refused me treatment. I'm a Senior at serious risk of Covid-19, with multiple pre-existing co-morbidities, in a very rural area with limited healthcare. It's now April '21 and I finally found another doctor yesterday. It will be another 3 months until I can get an appointment, but fortunately, my cardiologist, pulmonologist, oncologist, and gastroenterologist were all willing to renew my prescriptions, so I probably won't die yet. No thanks to anti-mask science-denier CDC-resistor James Frommer. 9 months. Were it not for the critical shortage of medical providers in America, I would lobby to have his license revoked.

Let me put it this way. He’s awful. I am a healthy 19yr old. However, for months I have had trouble swallowing. I was having pain in my neck, and I just felt so off. Like I said, I’m 19, my body feeling like this was very abnormal for me. I made an appointment for these issues. Where he condescending spoke to me like I was being irrational and told he it was anxiety, I said no, it’s a very physical problem. He put me on an anxiety medicine, and I promptly got off it because of head fog. When I told him, he almost seemed irritated. He ordered a ultrasound of my neck finally and found out my lymph nodes were so big they were pressing on my esophagus. I went to the ER one night for the discomfort I was in he reamed me out for that. Finally when to a ENT, he was mad cause I made the appointment somewhere else without telling him and he accused me of not getting lab work done. I wish I could go on, but I finally got the issue fixed, not by him though.

THIS GUY IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. HE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. HE TALKS DOWN TO YOU, LOSES HIS TEMPER, AND EVEN YELLED AT ME AND TOLD ME I HAD PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS. HE LITERALLY CALLED ME A DRUG ADDICT!!! I WAS IN SHOCK. I WAS EMBARRASSED, AND I NEVER WENT BACK. I AM 70 YEARS OLD AND I DO NOT USE DRUGS OF ANY KIND.
