Not impressed
I stopped seeing dr gitzus and asked only to see hispa after i received horrible care. Don't even know where to start. At 7 months pregnant i made and appointment to see him as i was having a health issue that required a primary care doctor and he was mine. When i came in he began by asking me if i knew that i was pregnant even though it had clearly stated in my chart and i was also clearly showing. He was rude and condescending. .At one appointment i expressed to him i needed to leave as the school had called and i needed to get my daughter as she was having a meltdown and being unsafe and he told me that it wasn't important and she could wait. The last straw for me was when i went in for an appointment and he greeted me by the wrong name i politely corrected him and he told me i was wrong because he had my file in front of him and accused me if lying because i had a history of drugs. It wasn't until i showed my I'd he believed me. He shouldn't have a license.

The doctor is fine but his office staff is atrocious. Jackie is unbelievably rude - you can't even make an appointment without her sounding completely annoyed that you are bothering her. How she keeps her job I have no idea because her attitude is terrible. Also - Mask required yet she wears hers on her chin - doesn't really instill confidence when she can't even follow basic covid health protocol.

I feel grateful to have Dr. Gittzus as my primary care physician. He is up to date, concerned about the whole picture, professional and very experienced. I have been seeing him for over two decades and would recommend him to my dearest friends.

I've had Dr Gittzus as my primary care physician for more than a decade. He's up to date, listens well, fixes what he can and is not shy about sending me to a specialist when he thinks I may have something that he's unable to deal with. He's timely with appointments, but I've never felt rushed. My family has had some bad experiences with doctors, but Jim is one that I trust.

Told me to "stop thinking about it and get your mind off of it" when I explained symptoms. Very old school and shows no signs of caring. Ran multiple tests and never called me with results. Had to call multiple times to get a hold of them. Also, ran many unnecessary tests, that I did not ask for and was not told about, that were billed to almost the exact amount of my deductible. Strong feeling that he's in it to collect on the insurance money, needs to retire.
