My husbands heart cath
My husband Donald Berry had a heart cath at Grand Strand Hospital on Feb 20, 2025. Dr Hadstate was his doctor, he is a great doctor explained everything really well, a great bedside manner and a very professional staff, especially nurse Lisa, she is a jewel. I recommend Dr Hadstate highly and would definitely go back, he also assisted Dr Gersch when my husband had a TAVR in 2018, saved his life. Thank you Dr. HadstateDon and Fay Berry

Excellent Cardiologist
Dr. Hadstate takes time with his patients. He saved my husband's life when he was having severe left back pain by inserting stents in his heart. He also saved my life when I had severe Aortic Valve Stenosis by replacing my damaged Valve using TAVR transcatheter aortic valve replacement. I have experienced good health and energy again. Thank you, Dr. Hadstate!

My heart valve
I needed an aortic valve repaired or replaced. A heart cath done be Dr, Hadstate proved no blockage so I was approved for a TAVI. I was back home I. 28 hours, feel great and was so happy with him that I will regularly see him as my cardiologist, Thank you Dr, Hadstate, and I want to mention Nurse Jackie Jones who made the entire process from registration to discharge all go so very smoothly. This entire practice is very impressive and I wouldn’t hesitate telling anyone who needs a great cardiologist to come and see for themselves. Kudos to Grand Strand Health! Thank you for making my heart healthy again!

My husband sees Dr. Hadstate, and has no desire to see any other doctor in this profession. This doctor has made himself available on short notice when it seemed my husband was having problems, and sometimes an appointment is met by a long wait for it at his office, but we have no desire to see anyone but Doctor Hadstate.

Dr. Hadstate, Jr. is a great doctor. Explains the disease one has and how the prescribed RX he orders work and what side effects, if any, they cause. If any member of my family or friends ever need a cardiologist I’ll recommend him. I’m very pleased being his patient.

I tried to find something to complain about but struck out. From the gal at the entrance on the first floor to the gal that checked me in on the 5th floor to the nurse and then the doctor. All very professional and ON TIME. The new facility is great. Looks like the waiting room holds 5+ times more people but, for now, all the open seats are separated from each other. So, I give them a 10 out of 10 (with 10 being the best). Just keep up the good work.

This was my first visit to this practice. The receptionist was welcoming and informed me of the expected wait time. The nurse made me feel comfortable and was very thorough in gathering information and preparing me for the visit. The EKG tech was very pleasant and cheerful as well. I found Dr. Hadstate to be knowledgeable and professional. He sat down as he talked with me at length, took his time to explain things and answer my questions. I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend Dr. Hadstate and his staff for Cardiology care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hadstate for about 3 years. Recently I visited him for issues involving dizziness and shortness of breath. He ran a nuclear stress test, a carotid scan and monitored my heart for 30 days. The work was all done quickly and professionally according to the plan he devised at my first visit. Two months later I am happy to report that the problem has been solved and I am feeling well. I rode 60 miles on my bicycle this week. I highly recommend Dr. Hadstate - he is a wonderful, compassionate, skillful physician.

My feeling after leaving the Medical Office of Dr. Hadstate was that I had just received wonderful Medical care from everyone involved in seeing me that day. As I was the V P of Financial Services of the Conn Children's Medical Center for 15 years. From the intake, the receptionist, very professionally, took my information. Next, I was called into the medical room by, Ashley, Dr. Hadstates RN. Ashley was extremely professional, and discussed my concerns about my Cardiac Calcium Test Score which was 2,621, which was substantially higher than the score of 300 that I was told was "a sign that I had a very high risk of heart attack". Next a technician, whose name I forget, came in and did a ECG reading. Then, Dr. Hadstate met with me. We discussed my concerns, he ask many questions about my health, then he suggested several treatment alternatives and after much discussion, we agreed that I would see him again in 3 months. Everyone that provided care to me that day was absolute wonderful.

I was a new patient of Dr. Hadstate starting last fall. He had previously been the surgeon who installed my second stint. I was so impressed with him I choose to change doctors. The whole experience of going to his office is pleasurable, if you can say that with heart issues. I have been impressed by everyone in his organization. His nurse has always called me back after any procedures to discuss the results with me.
