I found the doctor pleasant and informative. I expected more discomfort then i experienced. I think he did a great job with me!

He performed my umbilical hernia surgery in 2013. I was told I would be able to return to work in 3 days, post op. A seemingly easy procedure.. “I’ll be done in 15 minutes, he gloated.” Yeah, not so much! I was bed ridden for 5 weeks. The surgery didn’t even require mesh. It’s been 5 years since the surgery. I’ve since had 3 ultrasounds and the results show massive amounts of scar tissue across my abdomen, which is completely baffling since I had a 1 inch hernia. STAY AWAY!!! 0 stars

Dr. Hermengildo performed routine hernia surgery on me. It turned out to be anything but routine. Minutes after getting home from day surgery, I lost my hearing, eyesight and ability to speak. It was later determined that I was severely bleeding internally and spent 7 days in I.C.U. I received multiple blood transfusions and was told I came within minutes of bleeding to death internally. My life now is a living hell and have lifetime, permanent damage, leaving me disabled. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!!

dismissive and condescending. the office staff lacked motivation and efficiency. after my visit i learned of two others - my neighbor & friend, who had extremely horrible/life debilitating surgery experiences with him. So glad, i knew to stay away!! i honestly do not understand how this man has his license. i honestly would give negative stars if possible. unfortunately, it's sad but very very true. i strongly advise seeing another dr if possible.
