Extremely knowledgeable and responsive
My child has been seeing Dr. Herrera for about a year now, and is doing substantially better as a result. He is a psychiatrist who specializes in pediatric ADHD and associated conditions. This means he asks a lot of questions to determine the best course of medication(s). He is not a therapist, but coordinates with my daughter's therapist. As someone who is trained in the empirical approach, I appreciate his depth of knowledge and awareness of the research on ADHD. Unlike another poster, I have had a lot of questions answered. Dr. Herrera also gave me a thorough tutorial on ADHD (what happens in the brain, etc.) up front and continues to share factual information with me about why we're seeing what we're seeing in my daughter's affect and behavior. He is in very high demand given the number of kids in this area who need his help. For this reason, and because he does not belong to a group practice, you can expect it to take a bit of time to hear back from him if it's not an emergency.

Would not recommend. There’s very little information about him on the web. I’ve had one visit. Dr Herrera asked the questions. We ran out of time before I could get any idea of his approach and range of options. Difficult time scheduling a follow on appointment.
