Dr. James Hoffman, MD

We have two children born with a heart defect. Dr. Hoffman has been our cardiologist since day one. He is kind, patient and knowledgeable. At one point due to an insurance policy change, we were sent to the pediatric cardiologists at Primary's and I always felt a little like cattle. The docs would come in and take a look at the chart and then talk to me as though it was the first time we had ever seen them. Luckily, we changed insurance again 2 years later and were able to go back to Dr. Hoffman> I couldn't believe he remembered us and treated us like old friends. I cannot say enough good things about him.

Our child received the absolute best care I have ever seen from a doctor. As a parent, we were very comforted by Dr. Hoffman when we received the news about our child needing OHS. He kept in contact with us from the diagnosis all the way up to our child’s 6 week post-op appointment. He checked in often to see if we were okay and had any questions. He was thorough with explaining the procedure that would happen for our daughter’s heart defect. He was kind, sensitive and understanding as he explained things to us. We would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hoffman for any child needing a cardiologist.
