Blamed me for him not doing his job
Had a procedure done(2 years ago) where the referring doctor had stated what procedure I needed done, and what needed to be looked for during that procedure. I spoke with Dr.Kim about 2 minutes when he came in the room before I was administered anesthesia. After things were done and Dr. Kim was going over results with me, I asked about one specific thing he was supposed to check for. He said, “you didn’t tell me I was supposed to look for that!” As if in the 2 minutes I spoke with him I should have listed everything he was to look for. That’s his job as a doctor to read my chart and have full knowledge on what he needs to do. I was appalled that he would say that to me. He put in for a blood test to check for the same thing, which is not nearly as accurate of a diagnostic tool. I would not recommend this doctor for your procedure, as he clearly doesn’t have the time to do things properly for you.

I am very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Kim -- thorough, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I would heartily recommend him and the staff at St. Luke's North for anything gastro related. Dr. Kim and his staff made an unpleasant procedure effortless and painless. I felt very much at ease. I will definitely go back to him if the need arises.
