Dr. James Kozarek, MD

He was an amazing doctor tried to figure out what was wrong with me at all costs, but his staff specifically the referral person lost my file didn't send anything to the right place and then claimed to the doctor that I started an argument in turn getting me dismissed from the practice, and when I called the place that she said that I was harassing the lady said she had no idea what I was talking about and she was so sorry that that had happened! I would recommend the doctor to anyone because he is amazing ,but I would just make sure that you never need a referral!! because the front staff is unacceptable and ridiculous including the office manager between the two ladies they are nothing more than rude and hateful people that honestly don't care about others! Unfortunately the doctor does trust them even though they are giving him a horrible reputation

One of the worst Dr.’s I’ve ever dealt with. He was (unfortunately) the weekend Dr on call. All I needed was him to call in a referral so I could have the Eli Lily therapeutic infusion for Covid, that I qualified to have as being high risk. He made the call and when the hospital admin he was talking to indicated she needed to send him a 3-page referral form which consists of checking boxes he told her “it’s Saturday, I don’t have time for that”. Then when he called me back he said he was “unable to do anything” and “it was more involved than I was told” that there were “several” forms that needed to be filled out. I know this because I called the lady back and she was so nice and helpful. She said Kozarek barely let her get a word in and that she was going to send him the form until he refused because he doesn’t have time to be a Dr! Now, I have to wait until Monday and hope and pray that my symptoms don’t worsen which would no loner make me eligible to receive the infusion.

Best MD! Takes his time and cares about his patients. He knows his discipline! He would not go to another practice. We only trust him. We drive 2 hours to see him as we have moved south.

A great doctor who actually cares about you as a person, and doesnt see you as $$ signs

Received medication for my neck, six months later Dr. Kozarek asked me how my back was doing... Receptionist is very rude, no matter what. I will not return and am in search of a real doctor!
