Dr. James Kurtzman, MD

This is a long overdue appraisal of Dr. Kurtzman and his team. I began seeing Dr. Kurtzman during my high-risk pregnancy. As expected, I was worried and concerned about my pregnancy given my medical history. Having recently relocated to Orange County, I was also nervous about changing doctors and transferring my care. Dr. Kurtzman immediately put me at ease and handled my my care along with my baby's care with expertise, patience, and compassion. His team are also just as attentive, service-centric and compassionate. They are kind and compassionate people who genuinely seem to care about their patients and the child they carry. I was almost sad to "graduate" from Dr. Kurtzman‘s practice after my son was born. My son was born healthy and my delivery went seamlessly. I like to refer to it as my redemptive pregnancy. Dr. Kurtzman was meticulous and diligent in his care and I could not recommend him more.

Drs Kurtzman and Galyon are incredible doctors and are the reason I have two amazing daughters. Their care and expertise is outstanding. Both have amazing bedside manner and truly care about you as a patient and will spend as much time as needed with you. I have had 2 incredibly high risk pregnancies and deliveries and because of their attention to detail with my care, my daughters are alive. If you want the best (and I see a lot of doctors for my list of major health issues), look no further.

Dr. Kurtzman, Dr. Galyon and their staff have been angels sent from heaven with my high risk pregnancy. Throughout my whole experience with them, they were gentle, they were patient and incredibly understanding. They take the time to explain everything to you. They make you feel important and valued. With my previous unfortunate experiences of failed pregnancies, they were sure to stand by me and not even let me worry for a minute. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Kurtzman helped save my pregnancy. He helped my pregnancy go full-term after I was placed on bed rest at 19 weeks for an incompetent cervix & risk of preterm labor. He guided me through the process with exceptional knowledge and experience. I really believe his ability to think outside the box was a major contributing factor. He has a way of explaining risks very optimistically, seems to be available 24/7 since he was always there when I needed him, even outside of normal business hours.
