Dr. James Lindeen, MD

Dr. Lindeen has been my primary care for many years. I have always found him to be very caring and attentive.

I had a phone appointment with Dr. Lindeen. He didn't even care or want to listen to my concerns. I asked him to please put in a referral so I could get my annual echocardiogram because I have mitral valve prolapse. He said you need to come into the office first. My phone appointment should have been enough (everything is in my file). I also mentioned that I was having heart pain and discomfort and he didn't even seem to care! I told him I didn't feel like he cared and he said oh, I think you are getting upset and then he just hung up the phone on me. I should have checked on the internet for his low star rating. That would have saved me a very hurtful conversation with him. I hope other patients find my rating for him and they choose wisely. I also hope Dr. Lindeen finds this rating and in hopes that he'll decide to change his attitude. Dr. Lindeen, you took an oath to help and I ask you to please do that. If I could rate a zero, I would have.

I went in after having a seizure believed to be caused by external circumstances (alcohol). He did not even touch on any of that matter, which was only reason why I was there, and actually made 90% of the discussion focused on my marijuana use, which is legal in the state we live in. Throughout the grilling, He gave me stern looks and short abrupt answers as if I was a child who just got a bad report card. I'd had many rushed, uncomfortable experiences with this doctor in the past as well. Done.
