Bad news! Over my life span of 80 years I have seen five urologists.Lovinggood was the worst. The digital prostate exam was rough. On my very first visit he rolled in the cystoscope and said I had a bladder problem and prescribed medication that stopped urine flow. The whole experience with him was pretty scary.

My visit with Dr. Lovinggood exceeded my expectations. He was very professional with what could have been a quite awkward procedure. Everything was explained in good detail, the surgery itself as well as underlying tissue and any potential issues with anesthesia and post-op care and instructions. He actually prodded me to ask more questions, being sure I understood everything. His personality was fine. He’s knowledgeable but easy to relate to. I needed to see a Urologist for kidney cancer that was detected on an abdomen scan for a different procedure. Dr. Lovinggood reviewed the scans, conducted the complex surgery and managed the post surgery follow-up care. At each step he has been kind and skilled.

Bad surgeon. Stay away. His surgery cause me more problems. Since then, I have learned that Dr Lovinggood has settled and lost multiple malpractice lawsuits.

The worst care a patient could possibly recite! My mother went in for “routine” outpatient surgery two years ago and was almost killed by this Doctor. She was in intensive care for days fighting for her life because he “knicked” a main artery and she almost bled out. He then gave her an accidental overdose of medication and had to administer narcan (what they give to drug addicts) Two years later she still cannot leave the house due to the internal damage this doctor did to her stomach.

He's been a very good doctor to go to and was exceptionally thorough looking for other potential problems during my surgery.
