Dr. James Luecke, MD

I am a veteran and I live in Alpine, TX. Back in November 2023, I was informed by V.A. in Big Spring, that I was overdue for another follow-up colonoscopy. I was referred to Dr. Luecke in Fort Davis, to perform the colonoscopy.An initial examination & consultation was performed by Dr. Luecke on Dec. 8th. At the end of the visit, I was informed by Dr. Luecke's staff that he would be performing my procedure at the Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, on either Dec. 15th, or Dec. 22nd. His staff told me that they would inform me, as to which date it would occur, as soon as the hospital let them know.Both of those dates came and went, without a phone call from Dr. Luecke's staff. I then called the Alpine medical center surgical unit and asked them when would Dr. Luecke be able to perform my procedure. I was informed that Dr. Luecke's staff had never even attempted to schedule a procedure for me at BBRMC!!

Friendly, good customer service. Listens and responses. Quick service by staff.

Suzie his receptionist is a functional alcoholic and likes to violate HIPPA by talking about patients in town. Had to fire Dr. Luecke because he would not handle it, likely because there is more than working relationship there.

My visit was a very unpleasant experience.
