Great Doctor
Dr. Martin is one of the few gynecologists that I trust in the area and when I was pregnant, I had to see a bunch of them before I found Dr. Martin. After 8 months of being told my pain after L&D was normal by another OBGYN's office, I was referred to Dr. Martin by my PCP. Within a month, he had the issue diagnosed and had me scheduled for surgery to resolve the problem. I am forever grateful. Not to mention, anytime I have issues, he doesn't just ask 1 or 2 questions then give a prescription. He really tries to root out the cause and will follow up until everything is resolved. I like solution-focused people, and he is that.

Kind and Easy
Found this practice through BCBS and was pleased at the kindness of the staff and Doctor. The visit was quick and I was not left waiting in a room for 45 min. I agree with other reviews, the music and setting feel like waiting at a spa. Would recommend this office to others for the ease of the visit, cleanliness/ relaxing atmosphere and kind staff.

Business man
He has plenty of experience so that should lift some anxiety but he lacks empathy, or the time to make you as a patient feel heard or seen. He’s in and out and on to the next and doesn’t want to be bothered. Most importantly tho.. start a poll.. ask any women who gave birth through Martin, I’d bet over 80% had surgery. As a patient, you won’t have anything explained or know what or why he’s telling you you have to do surgery, you won’t even be confident he knows who you are after 9months and shame on me for putting my first pregnancy faith in this man. He’s prob performed thousands and thousands of c sections so yea, I’d prob prefer him to do it again but I won’t. If you’re pregnant and reading this, and you want to naturally birth your baby, you need to visit any other dr office in the world. The chances are high there will be some reason you can’t do that through Martin.

Dr. Martin is an amazing doctor. I went to a different OB/GYN early in my pregnancy, and ended up changing because I felt like my concerns were not being addressed. Dr. Martin's office addressed my concerns during my first appointment. I had a rather rough pregnancy and I always felt like I was in the best hands when I had an issue. I was really iffy about having a male OB/GYN, but I could not have made a better decision. If I was still in that area, I would still be seeing Dr. Martin.

So this is a long story I am going to make very short. I had a D&C procedure conducting on me 4 weeks prior to my final appointment with them. Throughout my pregnancy the I never met with Dr. Martin. I was only seen by his PA. I guess he was too busy to meet a new patient. If that wasn't bad enough he could care less or show any sympathy for my follow up appointment from my D&C, because the first words out of his mouth were well what are you going to do? Are you going to try again?
