In all my experiences with specialist, first I didn’t think about that this specialized training he received from wherever? Doctors are MD’S first & should have the knowledge of simple conditions which they’re trained FIRST for. Why does the dr. Not have knowledge of any other conditions that a Gp or even an fnp has? I don’t in good conscience recommend dr. McIntyre to another patient. I’d rather see an advanced practice nurse practitioner instead!!

Not very professional at all, I was very hurt physically & mentally by him & his false diagnosis & treatment that I should’ve been sent to the right doctor for treatment. I believe that he’s very incapable to help anyone! I pray that no one else has to suffer the pain & repercussions that I have experienced, what he’s caused me. Greed motivates him with the mindset that he has. I totally do not recommend him to any patients that want to keep their money or their own sanity.

After a 3 hour long wait each time to my exam and lobby to see and exam results, no chart in the room no real diagnosis instead maybe one I have had for over 30 years ago treated successfully for. Why the heck was I even there? I thought this dr. Would send me to the right dr. I have been with for years now! No I had 3 visits two hurt me for the rest of my life.. And made me suffer for my undiagnosedcondition. Was it the greed that consumed this dr?Medical bills my time? by this dr. Who didn’t have any right to take. I never should’ve been treated by him. And stupid enough to go back? Why I wasn’t listened to symptoms the first visit?me in my 3 visits I had made! life threatening problems caused with your shots and other things you prescribed me no real diagnosis? I’m a real person and patient. Please don’t treat patients with no symptoms of their specialty send them to the right dr. I will never refer this dr. To anyone. Charts need honesty!

I do not recommend using any sports medicine dr. James McItyre. I had around three- 4 visits. He didn’t really care about me and what I tried to say about my problem. I hoped that he would understand me like my concerns would matter. He made me wait each visit about 90 minutes. I was concerned about his condescending attitude towards me. I’d never been more angry about a dr. Who didn’t want to see what my problem was. I totally do not recommend this kind of behavior to others who need help with their own problems. I’m suffering from this issue now because of my outcome caused by this behavior this doctor has done to me. I’m suffering grave consequences because of a lack for his disregard for me. No I wouldn’t even bother to give one star. But that’s how honestly this app has you giving at least one star. No I do not recommend using this doctor for anything other than a patient. Himself so he can learn what we feel like about him.

Dr. McIntyre didn’t care about my condition. Didn’t talk with me about what he was doing to my body. I’m suffering from it now and he gave me a paper to see a different doctor.i do not recommend this dr. To anyone else.

Doesn't care
Came in for knee pain. McIntyre: 'welcome to getting old,' 'i can take an xray but it probably wont show anything', 'do some PT.'I'm 39 and the pain occurred suddenly after not having a history of injury or joint abuse. If found a new specialist and he was shocked to hear this story. McIntyre is checked out.

I absolutely do NOT reccomend Dr. McIntyre. He was rude and condescending. He spoke over me while I was trying to explain how my pain and knee instability felt. He said that there was nothing seen on the Xray and only inflammation seen in my MRI report- something that isn't true once I myself read the reports. The abnormal tilt and shift of my patella is off by almost 1/4 inch. He talks down to you as though you know nothing about your own body and pain. He had little knowledge of medication. He will probably try to push for a cortisone injection for almost every problem. Go see someone else if you want a knowledgeable doctor, and if you want to be listened to.

Visit #1: I did not not think a steroid shot would help. (It didn't.) Visit #2: And, I don't think expensive orthopedic shoes and/or insoles is going to address the bone spur in my foot that is causing pain and limiting life activities. In that my problem is not sports-related--maybe this doctor was not the right fit for this problem? I think that looking at my x-ray with me would have offered both of us to more directly my specific concerns and/or his reasons for selected treatments. I can't say that I don't "trust" his opinion and/or that he might not be perfect for someone else...But, for me...? Dr. McIntyre was very pleasant, took his time, was caring, gentle when he administered the steroid shot, etc. Office staff was very pleasant :-)

Great doc. Very friendly and approachable. Listened to my concerns. Had a difficult problem I hand seen a number of doctors for and he was able to figure it out. I'm feeling better and back to playing golf!

Frustrating! 90 minutes late for 9:30 appt. Asked for 2 shoulder x-rays, only would do one. Said come back for other. He coded my visit as top complexity (one that requires consulting with multiple doctors) but it wasn't. He admitted it was a simple read. His bill was $988 for an office visit, ONE x-ray, and cortisone shot! I got the same thing from another very competent surgeon a few months later and it was only $350. McIntyre didn't solve or recommend solution. Had to go elsewhere. GREEDY!!!
