Arrogant
We switched to Dr. Metts from a small town clinic. I was initially impressed with this office's appointment availability, as we can almost always get a same day or next day sick visit if needed, but I'm so tired of Dr. Metts's attitude. He's obviously very intelligent, which is great, considering his profession, but he's so arrogant. My 3 year old son has been complaining that his 'heartbeat hurts'. We have a family history of significant heart problems. I ran my son's symptoms past a friend who's a cardiologist in another state and he suggested bringing our son in and requesting an EKG. It's a fast, painless, non invasive test that could potentially ease a lot of my concerns. Dr. Metts refused to run it - he told my husband, 'I don't like being told what to do.' When my husband responded jokingly that I wasn't going to let him come back home without having the EKG done, Dr. Metts told him to get a hotel room or an apartment. What kind of response is that? I'm furious.
