Amazing personality
This is my first time meeting him. I was very impressed. First of all with the way he approached me very professional very happy and just ready to solve my problem and he came up with a solution really quick today’s the day after my visit and I feel so much better after I got a Cortizone shot… He even came out to the desk when I was checking out to double check on something relating to my past surgery.. I will always go to him and no one else I have a shoulder issue.. He also took me immediately on the same day. I booked the appointment to help me. I will definitely recommend him.

Right off the bat he was very aggressive handling my injury without warning. I had no time to react and stop him before I was in pain to the point of tears. He has zero compassion or bedside manner. The whole time he was rude, passive aggressive, and obviously in a rush. He would barely let me get a word in and the few times I could voice my concerns and experiences with this injury, he just invalidated my pain. Left the appointment angry, upset, and wishing I never wasted my time or money coming here.

Accomplished but poor patient-facing skills
I think Dr. O'Holleran is a very accomplished doctor. That being said, his NP was significantly more concerned and thorough in hearing my issues and potential diagnosis. Dr. O'Holleran came in for 5 minutes and spoke over me the entirety of the visit. I could get about 3 words in before he would cut me off and speak over me. I have knee instability with little pain unless I start up activities and he told me 'it should clear up in a few weeks.' This injury has been ongoing for 4 months...when I tried to reintroduce movement (running or lifting or biking) after 2 months of sitting around, the same instability made an appearance. During my appointment I refused to leave until I had a PT referral and a potential MRI set up. Dr. seemed annoyed to have to write these referrals. I am lucky to have advocated for myself to get MRI and PT, but people who aren't as confrontational may not get what they need from this doctor.

Predetermined Notion
I respect most Doctors for their commitment to health & welfare. What I don't appreciate is a predetermined outcome. Not reviewing the patients files beforehand, assessing on the fly with little thought. Announcing to the patient ' your angry' when the patient ask questions or disagrees with a particular assessment. After a series of health issues over the past years I've assembled a reasonable amount knowledge about my own health and what does or doesn't work for me. I do not disagree with the doctor having his viewpoint. However i do not feel the need to label that doctor as 'angry' or moreover 'obstinate '. A childish label of ' angry' was leveled against the patient for disagreeing with the doctor. Most people know a personal label in a conversation is an attempt to diminish and gain the upper hand. I as a patient of this Dr prefer to vote with my feet and walk away. No harm, no foul.Godspeed.

Wonderful experience
I had an amazing experience with Dr. O’Halloran. He is competent, professional, intelligent, but above all kind did my knee injection by himself, and I felt like I was in good hands the whole visit he did not rush the visit. He was informative. I would highly highly recommend him. He’s an asset to this clinic.

Dr. O'Holleran has excellent bedside manner, addressed all my concerns and was so compassionate. I have chronic issues that have not been resolved by other providers and I was taken aback that he was able to figure out what was wrong in 5 minutes. Great listener. Excellent, focused calm and patient doctor
I was just thinking about what a good experience my first visit at the clinic as well as with Dr. O’Holleran was when i received the reauest for the review. I went to the visit very stressed, in lots of pain, and most distressingly, I couldnt move around much. The doc is adept at calming fears, hearing your preferences and then offering a plan. Old fashioned trust, and the physician in collaboration with his patient; havent encountered this in some time.Im in good hands and we have a plan in place.Nice friendly and well run practice too! Every staff member was warm and helpful.

Dr Meh? Sports Medicine North terrible!
The Dr was just ok. Dismissive at times but not bad. I’m sure he’s done a lot of good with his skills. The organization on the other hand is not at all patient friendly. The worst part is the post op care. There was virtually no followup regarding orthotics fittings and once they fit my knee brace backwards then asked me to sign a document saying the device was defective so they could get paid for the replacement they had to provide. It took another orthopedic dr to identify the poor fitting. In another case I had foot surgery and they didn’t provide an orthotic afterwards. Again a dr identified the miss on a followup. Avoid this place for surgery if you can.
