Rudest doctor I have ever talked to
I have never been so mistreated by a doctor. He talked down to me, acting as though he is superior. Would not listen to concerns. I would never ever go to him again! Be cautious

Poor bedside manner
Went to him with a foot problem He asked me to show him my foot. Then he asked to see my other foot. He told me I have “ugly feet “ and don’t bother getting surgery because it won’t work and I will be in more pain after surgery. I don’t have ugly feet, quite the contrary. I went to Northwestern in Chicago. I had the surgery and no longer have ANY pain. During my visit Dr. Pickford I explained I had three concerns. He cut me off and told me I was anxious. That response from him sealed it for me, I found a wonderful doctor who listens to me and has ordered some test to try and resolve my other two concerns.

The Daughter – Feb 03, 2024

Have been seeing Dr. Pickford for the past 7 years. His medical knowledgeable is above average and he'll let you know that yours is not. Unfortunately, he has an extremely dry personality and is quite comfortable talking down to you as if you are a small child. If that's what you find acceptable at $250+ a visit then he's the Doctor for you. I've had enough and decided to go elsewhere.
