I had surgery performed by Dr. Reid on my left hand in August 2021. The procedure went very well. Cornerstone Orthopedics has an excellent and courteous professional staff. I came back when I developed the same medical condition on my right hand. I consider Dr. Reid to be an outstanding Surgeon who I highly recommend. Thank you Cornerstone Orthopedics and Dr. Reid for an outstanding job.

Dr Reid is very knowledgeable and skilled as a surgeon. He fixed my arthritic wrist without metal joint implants and gave me information so I could choose minimal but effective anesthesia and pain meds. He explained his procedure clearly and answered any questions I had. I appreciated his care for me as a patient and person. I also appreciated his willingness to fit my surgery into the end of the year amid my busy travel schedule. I would definitely recommend Dr Reid.

I will start off by saying this is a very frustrating practice. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment; took me two weeks to finally get into see Dr. Reid. I was very disappointed in his bedside manner, he does not listen and constantly interrupts. He wants to tell you stories about himself rather than listen to you. I would recommend searching for a different surgeon. He can also be incredibly sarcastic and can make you feel demeaned.

I cant stress enough that Dr Reid does not have a calming bedside manner. He did not invoke confidence in his abilities as a surgeon nor did he show the patient any confidence in his ability to recover from the injury. He did not notify the patient immediately when he decided to drop him as a patient, despite numerous attempts to contact him via phone. He waited a week and a half to notify him via snail mail and, due to the holidays, subsequently caused the patient a major delay in finding a new surgeon. This caused further injury and almost certainly caused the patient to completely lose the use of his dominant hand as a result. Thanks a lot Dr. Reid! Expect to be sued for malpractice!

I've known and been treated by Dr. Reid for close to 15 years. I have osteoarthritis in both hands and we initially injected orthovisc into my thumb joints to provide some cushioning and pain relief, I didn't want surgery yet. Helped for about 3 or so years, then we discussed the surgical intervention needed for longterm use of my thumbs/hands. Having a healthcare background, I research my providers. Dr Reid is by far and away the only hand surgeon I would want operating on my hands. Totally trust his skills and advice. Excellent surgeon. Communicates well and answers all of your questions and addresses expectations for surgical outcomes. Has operated on others I know as well, all good outcomes. Would not go elsewhere.

No wait to be seen, but waiting g room was empty, except for 1 person. Dr. Reid was very focused on 1 issue, which was, 1 finger with very advanced arthritis. Yes, that was initial concern, becoming hard to function, but all fingers were progressing at the 1st joint very rapidly. I wanted to know what my choices were, if there were any options, on the overall picture. Surgery on the worst finger was only option given to me. He did not want to address 2 worst fingers, surgery at same time, since progression was happening so quickly. Just wanted to know, since 8 fingers were progressing quickly, this way, was I suppose to come in 8 times for surgery, if that's the only fix, for this problem or what was future outlook. I accepted his answer. Point is, I felt very clearly, my appt time was up, I didn't have time to talk any more, so I just stopped. If this is destiny for all 8 fingers, doesn't see right to pay 8 co-pays, for council on same probem.
