I went as a new patient about an ankle issue. They took an x-ray even after I indicated that previous x-rays didn't show any issue, I was hoping for an MRI to rule other things that an xray can't see. My biggest area of concern was the office visit charge of $400 (in addition to the x-ray charge) which I found to be excessive, I had two issues that would be addressed by this office and when I brought up my other concern (rotator cuff) I was told "you made this appointment for your ankle", I was surprised by the comment as I didn't realize that I should've made another appointment for the shoulder issue. He did discuss the 2nd issue even after his comment. Maybe that is why the office visit was so high - 2 appointments in one??

He was wonderful I was so scared he brightened my Day Immediately! VERY HAPPY !!!!! He is my New Doctor I am just Thrilled!! I am very pleased and just feel it in my BONES he is going to get me back to myself!!

I am just now reading that Dr. Rents is a lower limb, knee and foot doctor! So why was I seeing him for my neck pain ? Hate that I did not read all this before seeing him. He did me no good. I told him that the x-ray did not even show where my pain was ! I was in a turtle neck sweater... he never looked at or examined where my pain was. Why should I be billed anything ?

Dr. Rentz and his nurse Toya have been treating me for chronic knee pain and has been absolutely fabulous. Where other doctors have told me in the past as a child my pain was growing pains and as an adult nothing found, Dr. Rentz found I have arthritis/bone spurs and a torn meniscus. I have had fluid removed from both knees, cortisone injections in both & currently going through a series of Gelsyn shots all with very little pain from either of those procedures. He has listened to my concerns and seems to be honest & forthcoming with my options. I have found an orthopedist for life. The only improvement I can suggest is the LONG wait time when calling his office. Every time I have called the office I am on hold for 20 minutes or longer. The best method for contact is to use the My Atrium patient portal.

I am a retired surgical nurse from Chicago. Dr Rentz is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Charlotte, Fort Mill, and Rock Hill. I will continue to see Dr. Rentz for all my future orthopedic needs.

I had an appointment I the Rock Hill office at 8:20 am on 9/15/16. I arrive at 7:50 checked in. Was taken to the room at 8:15. I set in there till 9:10 waiting on him. I left after asking his where abouts and given the ladies thoughts about his NO SHOW. call the office manger left my name and no. She return my call with the "I AM SORRY SONG"
