I have been a patient of Dr. Marks’ for more than two years. He has treated me for prostate cancer and a lesion on my bladder. I’m doing well and I think Dr. Mark is the best. He really takes his time with patients and explains things in detail. I trust his judgment and advice. Some reviewers mention long wait times to see Dr. Mark. In my opinion any wait to see him is well worth it. He spends whatever time is necessary to make sure all questions are answered and each patient is confident all treatment options are carefully explained and each patient can make an informed decision about care.

Whether it’s at the CCenter Philly office or the Navy Yard, a.m or p.m. the wait will be btwn 30 mins- 2 hours! It’s ridiculous He explains things very well, he spends time but it is beyond aggravating to sit for a hour plus…you feel stuck, if I leave will I get another appnt any time soon? We may look for a new Dr, perhaps things will go better who knows

Was told that I had stage 3 kidney cancer. He help get me into surgery quickly and stopped by everyday I was in the hospital over a week. Took his time in surgery to make sure all of the cancer was removed. Helped me get into a clinical trial after surgery to ensure continuation of care after surgery. Could not have gotten any better care and would use him again. Hopefully not needed.

I have kidney cancer, Dr Mark was very thorough in explaining the condition, offering alternative treatments, and answering all my questions so that I could make the proper decision. The procedure was completed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philly, I had a private room which was clean and the nursing staff was exceptional.

I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Mark's medical/surgical expertise. From my first visit, I've also been impressed with his relaxed and calming style. He's performed one successful surgery to-date, one (or two) to go. I feel assured that I am in excellent hands.

Very disappointed with the urology department. The "team" had no concern for patient's mental state. Very dismissive. Even the staff nurses at TJUH expressed concern related to the lack of empathy or professionalism

Dr. Mark is a great doctor. I would and will recommend him always. He is an exceptional urologist and an expert in the Davinci robotics. I am basing this on our experience with a serious problem that my husband had. Dr Mark thoroughly examined my husband, requested the needed tests and explained the results to us in a way that we understood. Dr Mark found that surgery was needed. He took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do. He is a phenomenal dr and great human being.
